When I first recieved the phone, I had it on charge overnight (at least 8 hours), tried to turn it on and wouldnt work (google flashing red light). This is a fairly common issue with these phones from what I have read (do your own research). Got it replaced (turned out to be a bad battery) and since then no problems at all. Epic phone, works great, I wouldn't say it's quick, but it aint slow, you pay for what you get, and honestly guys, you get a bloody bargain. Have owned it for just over a week now, I am very impressed with what you get. I am a part time/hobbyist audio engineer and can say the sound quality of both the phone and headphones are a B+. Camera is crap. Love it enough to reccomend it to friends and family.

Hey guys.. About the Sony Tipo touch problems.. I too tried to caliberate the phone myself about three times each time reseting the phone.. But in vain.. Then I went to Sony Service Centre today and they also said they would caliberate the phone.. But still the problem persists.. Anybody having the same problem..??? What do I do..??

Amazing and cheap phone. Works perfectly for me, has a great battery, it's small but no problem.

If you want to speed up your xperia tipo, root it because when you root you can overclock the processor when i play game like temple run OZ . For me it runs for around 20 hrs while normal usage (2G always on, around 1 hr voice calling, sometimes wifi, brightness 40%, running multiple syncs like gmail, facebook, contacts, notes etc)

The phone is good but you cant save your contacts on sim :S that is little problem if you make factory restore the numbers you writted on phone will be erased and you cant bring them back :S
