Negative comment makers just come out of samsung mania or other brands.
just get freak about sonyyyyyyyyyyyyy...............

Nothing is wrong with this smartphone, Only the thing is wrong that the people who don't have this device & are simply posting negative comments due to jealousy about this android device.
though, its longer but Proud to say its full name...

the tipo have no built in digital compass.

Put 2 sims both ATT, one of is on Emergency Call Only mode, the other one is OK. But when I put the problem one back on my HTC, it's working fine.
Have anyone had this kind of problem?

Most of consumer wants to get reviews before buying product like me who searched reviews for tipo dual on various sites like you tube, gadget sites etc..
I got some positive and negative reviews
I bought my cell one week before on 22 Nov 12,I don't lie I was feeling regret why I waste my 10K on this phone even I was getting other phones at low budget.
I always wanted to buy sony phones.
But now I don't know why I am loving this phone very much.
All regret feeling because of bad commenting and reviews of others.
Actually phone is superb except Camera.
All features are beautiful worth mention- dual sim except the quality of camera which was I am not expecting from Sony.
Even I drpped my cell on second day having dent mark and scratches on phone. Still working like butter touch.
Here is simple review from my side who want to buy this smart featured phone -
Positive Part:
All is fine in this phone what do you expect more from in such kind of budget with fantastic features
- First to mention 'Super touch ', as per most of said I still not get any problems regarding touch.It has fluid touch screen.
- Dual Sim slot which works perfect still not an issue regarding network.
I used one for calls and messages and another for net.
both working fine.
-Advanced android 4.0.4 ICS features which gives cool experience.Full details regarding battery consumption, data uses.
-Small and handy convenient to hold and keep.
-can play cool games downloaded from google store at free cost.
-800 MHz Cortex-A5 processor with 512 Mb ram internal storage and SD card extension.
-Long live battery as per consumption(if you used net continuously obviously its gonna discharge)
-Very much lighter as compare to other phones which I used earlier.
Negative Part-
Only one negative part in this phone is Camera.Very poor quality from Sony Co.
If you are not looking for camera features and interested in other things which I mentioned then definitely go for it.
Some says it hangs- it obvious if load more stuff in memory then but obvious its gonna hang.Move all data from phone to internal storage then see how it works.
It hangs sometimes when you start the phone and quickly goes to operate.
Give time to prepare phone with all data then start to operate, you will be glad to experience it.
Hope someone will satisfy after reading my hands on experience.
Buy or not to buy is depends on everyone.Basically it depends upon budget :D
More budget more features. Simple funda :)

When one call is received another sim will be outoff coverage instead of standby

I am sony fan but bit unsatisfied with the TIPO DUAL.
Firstly, both sims are not active
Secondly, Battery backup is very poor even when all applications are closed.
Lastly- Doesn't respond to touch on many occasions even picking a call is a mess.
Rest all other features seem to okay.
My personal suggestion is Don't buy
