1. Root your XU, install Titanium Backup Pro. you can backup and uninstall system apps
2. Disable system apps, go to setting. apps. tap on apps name then tap disable.

Hi guys!
I have been using this phone since Sep 13, 2012. This phone is really awesome. No lags at all, runs smoothly.
I have played:
1. Fruit Ninja HD
2. Temple Run
3. Temple Run 2
4. Air Penguin
5. Doodle Jump
6. CHAOS
7. Raging Thunder 2
8. Subway Surf
etc...
without any lags.
Battery timing for me is 1.5 days on average.
It fell twice on cemented floor from 4-5 feet height with simple plastic cover on it but surprisingly not a single scratch on it and running perfectly.
Display is awesome and Bravia Engine adds more stars to it.
Camera quality is also very good outside.
6 GB storage i.e. 2 GB for apps and 4 GB for data is more than enough for me.
I have watched full length movies on it.
I love this phone and I love SONY...

its so nice,but i av issues with the screen. just sw my screen broken without it fallen and i a misplaced the ear piece...i need replacement for both....please get across to me at fragile.roses@yahoo.com

osum device with dual core performance.
nice camera quality , very good build.
it can support full HD 1080p vdoz too. HD vdo recording
can play heavy games very smoothly .

AnonD-73506, 28 Feb 2013sola s better dan xu...I disagree...sola has expendable memory thats it..i got xu cause 8gb is enough for me with some help from usb otg...sola has nfc(no use to me),floating touch(again a market gimmic) but it skips the basic things like a removable battery and most importantly a from cam for all your video chats....xu marginally beats sola in most benchmarks too and i really like the illumination led of xu which is a real attention grabber...photos and audio quality is same because both of them use the same sensor...people prefer xu to sola and thats why the sales of xu beat that of sola...xu sold like hot cakes...finally its upto individual decision...

overall is good esp the appearance, but 1 thing ive notice is the 8gb internal 4 gb user.. what will i do to a 4gb? i think neo l is much better.

6 mnths since i got this phone. :)
awesome phone in this price range
looks pretty nice too
1 ghz DUAL CORE.. :)
runs temple run 2 easily.. as it lags in xperia pro and xperia ray.
nice crisp picture quality.. 280 ppi. :)
no phones give that in this price range.
only disadvantage is the memory..
but overall awesome phone

Joey, 01 Mar 2013For all those guys who wants to upgrade Xp U please read th... morei got mine XU its already ICS. i didn't update it. minor lag here and there but it ok. camera quality is so so, i have remove some unwanted apps. disable facebook, gmail, maps, gtalk, g+ etc. so my XU is smooth :)

For all those guys who wants to upgrade Xp U please read the comment below.....(Do not Upgrade)
I am a pure owner of Xperia U. An awesome phone indeed, until it is in version 2.3...Ill tell u the problems you will face in X'U once you upgrade.
1) The most important and unethical fact is you will lose the cameral clarity to the core...
Take a night photo in ver.2.3 and 4.0 you'll see the huge difference...
2) Usual problems like lagging,gets slow and some other prolems are additional.
If you can face these problems and if u can downgrade back to 2.3 go for and chek how it feels..
But if u dont know and do not have the source to downgrade pls, pls pls do not upgrade...

some nonsense Parsons making comments this mobile not quad core,not bigger display,not camera quality,low ram,no memory card.don't make again like this comments. NONSENSES. this price range yours think find S3 & iPhone5???????? this price range XPERIA U best mobile in tha world.
