I dropped my Xperia U yesterday down the loo by accident, I dried it out with the hair dryer and its all back up and working but i cant pick up no signal and ive lost all my contacts, All my apps are working fine and the screen, Etc, Etc, I opened up where my Battery Goes and its showing a little RED dot at the bottom right hand side of my phone. It wasnt there before, What does that mean? And why cant i pick up signal anymore, Its saying ive got a problem with my sim card so i tried my mothers sim card in it and its still not working, any reason why?

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2013i want to buy a phone.i selected four sony xpria u,sola,son... moresola s best if u dont care abt front camera.... neo l s has less internal memory and it's single core processor... over all xu s best but kep in mind it has smal screen in width and no memory card...

Hi all... Is there same problem in Xperia U of bluebooth like in nokia lumia 610..or its like normal phones..that we can transfer files n all properly from 1 phone to another..??

kpr, 18 Feb 2013can u used a normal sim in this phone Yes you can...actually this phone takes normal sim as well as micro sim...normal sized sim can be used directly but for using micro sim,a sim card adapter is also provided...

I have a problem with this phone...everytime I switch to Airplane Mode the mobile sound goes mute by itself.

Recently I got a bug. I mean an irritating problem. when I turn into landscape mode for typing sms or email, viewing pictures and also when I scroll down the notification bar . I can see couple of tearing lines on the left side. so is there any solution for it? my xu is running on ics .54 .
please help.
