I`m using android 4.0.4 on this phone and Iv followed Sony`s advice for my phone due to it nor accepting my sim card. They have told me (on the forum) to perform a hard reset and i was wondering how exactly i would go about doing this. It has accepted my sim now but i constantly have no signal :/

Well! If u r talking about games lags then it is definitely there. And ive told u i dont play games. yes when i play high quality video then 720p video then yes it does restart and that is bcuz of weak GPU. Well i plan to buy xperia s. It is better than both of these sets namely XU and S plus.

Once the update is available, just... moreYou can upgrade.But beware that nobody has denied that the phone performance reduces to 75-80% after the upgrade.Tug upgrade has not worked out well for the performance hungry,but it does bring few cosmetic changes and some new apps thats it...for me,its not worth the risk.Gingerbread is working flawless and currently i am enjoying batman arkham city on my phone which is performing free from any hitch and glitch whatsoever eventhough its a 1.9 gb game...

Deeply disappointed,i regard Sony as a leading pioneer in the electronic/mobile phone world.This product to me was not very good at all.Could only use my app's at home,lost all connection once i stepped away from my internet provider and the battery was very,very poor.The initial set up was not very informative and have still not quiet got the grasp of my phone.

There is no reason to not update, unless ofcource you cant handle android properly.
