Sony doesn't provide Tamil font, you can use Opera mini browser to see Tamil fonts. Or Sett Tamil browser helps you too.. Search in Google play store

It can take a long time though, so don't panic if you initially can't see anything listed at all - it will all come back as Android scans the entire media storage area for photos, music and video.
(Remembered from Gingerbread, maybe inaccurately - ICS does things a bit differently I think)

It uses ... moreI think there is political pressure to release it for the other phones, even though they are probably just as technically borderline/incapable, but because they are "newer" they are expected to get it (as Sony try to turn around their track record of abandoning phones). I expect that in the long term XU users will enjoy better experience with GB or ICS, so it's for the best, and that there will be many customers cursing Sony for releasing an inappropriate firmware for the newer phones for political rather than technical justification.
