It's been 2 years since i bought it its working fine. The problem that occurred to me is with the memory I've had to format it several times because there's no room left for new stuff other than that I haven't had any problems other that it lags while gaming so I'm the moto g but its still a great phone

Hello guys, am using xperia U from last 2 years, it is working fine on gingerbread, after upgrading to ICS it become slower, this is not because of mobile. it is due to ICS. phones which are having ICS in that apps will never goto sleep, all the apps will run in background and it is the feature of ICS. based on the app usage RAM memory will be get alloted to each app and it will keep on updating the RAM size. to solve this issue i found 1 solution. goto setting->developer options-> background process select 1 process at most. when ever u switch on ur mobile keep practice of doing this setting. this will solve all the issues. initially i faced battery heating up issue. this i shown to service centre, they said it is some software issue and they fixed it. after that till now i havnt faced any issue my phone working fine.
This is a good mobile in this price range. am suggesting not to use chrome or web browser bcoz these will consume lots of RAM size. ucbrower is good to use on this mobile.

worst phone....... i will never suggest anybody to buy this phone.. touch doesnt work proprly. hangs frequently.. i hv been using this phn from last 9 months.. heats up regularly.

Xperia u have nt card slot only 4 gb space. Xperia miro give good battery back up but not support hd videos. Xperia m better choice

Why Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread)not upgradable to v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)by using Sony PC companion ?
It is showing always that my device has the latest android.
Also in this mobile, and maybe in all Sony mobiles the sound is very low, and I'm always having miss calls,because of low sound
Sony mobiles only have a beautiful design.
