Somebody tell me pls how to update xperia u to ic... moreconnect your phone to your computer using the data cable and open the sony pc companion.... it will tell u if u have an update available or not..

Ampatuan, 15 Dec 2012does this phone have 6GB or 4GB ? quite confusing. thanks i... more4 GB is for media files which include photos, audio songs, videos etc. 2 GB is for applications. So, out of the total 8 GB, you can access 6 GB.

AnonD-78229, 14 Dec 2012I don't know why notification light is not working in ur ce... more(1) I don't know which country you are from, but many users have reported the LED notification problem from my country, India.
(2) Sony claims that this phone is equipped with 512 MB RAM. But I could account only for 290 MB of RAM most of the time(180 MB used and 110 MB free). If the Android OS is using the remaining 222 MB of RAM, I really wonder how do phones with RAM lower than 512 MB operate!
(3) Factory reset would delete all the contacts, SMS and media files, no? If so, how to proceed?

my sony xperia u mobile phone is not functioning well. especially wen i will use it in composing message. the "touch screen" or letters appears slowly wen im txting. wat shld i do? tar... plz rply

could you guide me through... moreHave you synchronized your data such as contacts, calendar etc with Google? If not do that first creating a Google account.
After that, update your pc companion, if it gives error un install it and install again from Sony website.
After installation is complete, connect your mobile and follow the instructions.
Downloading software may take longer time depending on your Internet speed. Installation takes around 5 minutes.
After update, factory reset your mobile.
