lofe, 04 Dec 2012Which one should I buy? Xperia U or Iphone 4?I don't know how u make this comparison as Iphone4 costs twice the price of Xperia U. If u can afford Iphone 4, then definitely go for it.

At typical mp3 file sizes, you should get about 1000 songs on.

AnonD-78229, 05 Dec 2012You shouldn't be worried about the ram. Just make sure ther... moreSo long as background apps are sleeping (an app such as Watchdog Lite will tell you CPU usage of each, and spot if anything is being over-hungry) it doesn't matter if there are lots of apps listed as being in memory. Android is based on Linux, which (unlike Windows, which most people are used to) works most efficiently when memory is full of such "cached" applications. It means that when you switch apps or relaunch, it can do so much quicker, and save battery having to reload and restart them. If Android needs the memory for an active app, that will always take priority. In any case, if you manually terminate a sleeping app, in many cases it will immediately restart anyway, so it'll still be there and you've wasted both battery and your time!

want 2 buy dis phone, 05 Dec 2012Hey guys. This phone not support Micro SD.So How to put song... moreFastest uploading is via USB. Unfortunately the phone does not use USB mass storage, so it's not quite as neat as it could be. Instead it uses MTP, which is not quite so reliable connecting and has a few other disadvantages. Windows users will need either PC Companion or Windows Media Player 11 or higher in order to provide the right drivers to connect. Users of other operating systems (Linux, MacOSX etc) may well be able to connect without additional drivers.

You can also use the thoroughly excellent AirDroid app to connect and upload wirelessly, though the speed is then limited to that of your wi-fi network - almost certainly slower than the USB option but possibly more convenient.

As for how many songs, that depends on length of songs and encoding quality. Assuming 4 minute songs at 128kb/s encoding, 4GB will hold about 1000 songs.

IF you have a file copy of the 2.3.7 image, there are allegedly ways involving rooting and flashing (and invalidating your warranty), but that's all mumbo jumbo to me :)

Then, I did reset my phone now it is better. But I don't know for how long. So stay with ginger bread. I'll let you know the performance after few days when phone gets heavy with more app data.
You may update to ICS, but reset your mobile after update. And you may need to reset again after few days if performance again went down which I want to test. Hope this would not occur.

Just make sure there are not many apps at background running. It would consume ur ram. I have 150+ apps in my mobile right now, and it's working fine.
