Don't go for ICS. not recommended. not a big difference in UI. GB is better.

I read few comments that ICS has no problem I think those were those who don't use bundle of apps. A blank mobile can give better performance. Don't go for ICS. It's not suitable for this phone. Until and unless Sony issues updates to fix problems. Even I can't write this comment smoothly as I was able in gb.

Alep, 01 Dec 2012Wait wait. Those who wanted to buy this phone,go on. But ma... morei have that cloud storage when buy xperia u. doesn't help at all. connection problem. download and upload take ages, even though my carriers have 3.5 G facility. same with when use wifi.
This is ret4aded phone who make people think usb on the go and cloud storage is perfect solution. not at all.. smartphone should be smart, not complicated. But this is great affordable phone with 1 ghz dualcore cpu

I had to downgrade the phone since for loading the contacts it takes around 5 minutes...Stay on Gingerbread :)

its nt working at all.
u tube n movies, cnt watch at all it stuck.
i really dnt knw y i buy dis phone its a bad choice.

Awful phone speaker is horrible distorted and crackles, battery life is beyond a joke no memory oh and finally the camera yuck Just didn't like this phone at all

I like my xperia u. it is fast,beautiful and cheap. 3.5" is not ideal size but very good display and for the price i can't ask for more, antutu score was 5521 . not any issues yet, 6 gb overall is enough. if you can pay go pick xperia s but in the price range you can't find better.
