Bought this fone a week ago... here is my short review on my experience so far.. I was using a Xperia mini pro before this.
Display - awesome... i have compared with the display of Galaxy S duos, HTC one V. Xperia Mobile Bravia engine wins..
I can see the diff in the processing speed when compared to my previous mini pro. Thanks to the dual core processor.
Cam - i would say 50-50. Its very average in the low light conditions. I don use the mob cam to record videos. so not sure abt tht.
Memory slot - This is one of the major concerns every one has. Total 8 GB. 4 GB - user accessible for media and other storage. 2 gb - dedicated to apps alone. 2GB - for system resources.
This is striclty personal preference. For me this is well and good. cos i keep taking backup from my fone. i remove unwanted apps, fotos, videos so i am perfectly fine with the memory storage.
Battery life - Defenitely better than my previous xperia. My prev fone was very pathetic with a battery life of 5 hrs. This one is much better.. it gives me 8-9 hrs. I am using a 2g connection which will be always on. Given the display and continous data usage, 8-9 hrs is def a big plus.
Overall, pretty much satisfied except for the ICS update which i am waiting for.

Is it enough? Not if you want to store a 5GB file. Otherwise you decide, depending on your needs.

I bought one, perfect phone and kicks ass for "Samsung Ace","Samsung Wonder" and Htc models in comparison. Powerful cpu, moble bravia display engine.Only disatvantage is no sd card slot, but XperiaU is more beatiful/appealing than XperiaP or monster XPeriaS.

The main problem of this phone is that it has no SD card slot....!!

In overall experience, nokia and samsung are realy top class. All xperia phns hav horrible battery lyf. Look forward to galaxy phns. Galaxy is overal a great package with decent battery, decent operation. Actualy, owners of galaxy ace r happier than owners of xperia u when xperia u has a powerful hardware. Bad luck sony. Realy its time for samsung.

I find more often it doesn't refresh pages when I hope it might, e.g. when I have a site set as my home page it often remembers the version from last time I visited rather than fetch it anew. Sounds like yours is the opposite. In fairness I tend not to try and do as you are, but more just check pages as a one-off rather than go and then come back.

Anonymous, 10 Oct 2012i want to buy this phone..i heard that this phone has a lot... moreScreen is excellent. Slight off-axis dimming cos it's not IPS like on iPhone etc, but beautiful definition. Some people do not get on with the narrower width, but probably not discovered the T9 keypad option that makes it much more useable in portrait aspect.
Camera is decent for 5 megapixels. Problems come when people forget to take off the protective plastic film, which makes pictures washed out and bizarre colours sometimes.

I bought this phone recently. It is very fast, due to having a dual core processor, and the graphics are very good. All applications flow very well, the only downside is the internal memory, for those who want to save a lot of video, especially in HD, you have to be careful not to fill the memory, because it has slot for micro sd. Who wants to buy a mobile phone, this is a good option.
