That's to say, if you mean copying photos and music etc. That's how I have it set up, though I have also now installed the rather nice Wifi File Transfer app off Google Play which lets you copy files of up to 4MB on and off without plugging the phone in at all (pay-for version has no file size limit).

I am using Xperia U for two weeks. I thought this great phone. This is the first time I am using Android after one year using Blackbery. I just by this phone for email task and some multimedia hobbies
Remember, I am not hardcore gamer, but just casual gamer so 4GB is more than enough for me, but maybe not for hardcore gamer whois looking for big storage for HD game:
          Pros:
+Stable Gingerbread. I never have hang problem since I bought is two weeks ago.
+Clear display. With 280 ppi and 800-480 px give clear display.
+Good Camera: 5 MP, it's enough for me. Even I see captured picture in my notebook, it is still good.
+Cheap. This is chepest Dual core 1 GHz, and this is more than enough or me.

          Cons:
-Batter drained fast, I have to recharge twice a day. But remember, I am using this phone very extensively for email every day to read and reply my customer mail.
          - No CD driver out of the box to sync. Until now, I can't connecting my U with notebook. When connecting phone with my notebook, it automatically downloading PC suite, but always failed. Does anybody can help me?
-Small RAM. With 512MB, it still okay for 2.3 Gingerbread, but maybe not for 4.0 ICS.
-Small display. 3.5 inch is to small to input text. but landscape view give easier inputting text.

Overally, I give 4 of 5 star score for Xperia U.

AnonD-68933, 30 Aug 2012When will ICS come on xperia u?Ics is due in q3 which means july-september meaning its imminent like ive said! In reality first phones will recieve ics in september but the rollout normally takes up to 6weeks depending on operator and what mods are needed to be done to the software so I would say september first rollout and november at the latest for final rollout. Just google xperia u si numbers ics update and it will show all xperia u si numbers and the date the software is released!

moon, 29 Aug 2012my phone has a problem i bought a phone and it hs a problem... morescratch??? didn't you put screen protector on it??? it comes with the phone itself!!!
and about lagging.. firstly do a hard reset of your phone, but if problem persists go to service center, they will reinstall your software !!
                                  hope this solves!! try it

moon, 29 Aug 2012 hello were did you buy your phone? may i know it? please? I stay in Calcutta!!! and I purchased the phone from a shop situated here!!!
actually it doesn't matter from which shop you purchase, if the service centre issues a DOA letter, the shop will have to issue you a new phone!!! (and DOA letter is issued if any defect occurs within a week of purchasing the phone, that is why it is named-dead on arrival-DOA).. and none of the company wants to destroy their goodwill.. surely... so they should issue it!!
