I had bought one Sony Experia U(ST25i) on 250612. Battery and processor hangup problems came within 2-3 days of purchase and after some time I was forced to handover the same to the co's Vadodara service center vide workorder no. SE31212012148. After several follow-ups I got a SWAP(old used and repaired in return of my brand new piece) instrument back on 16082012. The same is again faulty and is again handed over to the same service center vide work order no. SE31212012441 on 270812. Again I have been asked to wait for ten days.
Now my submission as follows:-
My new instrument was giving problem and you have given me a used and repaired instrument after 17 days. Why not a new one?
When the co is taking back a new instrument why not giving a standby instrument or a choice to the customer to get back his money?
Twice faulty instruments have been handed over to me. What are the chances of me being third time lucky?
What will be the warranty date now?
Since I have already raised all these questions with Sony without any reply which authority shall I approach now with my grievance?

Does anyone know whether ram and the phone memory affects a gpu's performance? I have my android phone loaded to the max with games, and games & apps backed up. Recently i notice a lot of lag or crashing in some games.....which might be as i rip the hell out of the controls more recently when playing intense action games. Hard to tell with games updating as well.

the live is wider so it is more comfortable with on screen keyboard and portrait mode!

Adreno 205 handles official nova3 and asphalt7, real football, temple run and dead trigger and agent dash smoothly!! It is good enough nowadays

And ics is already available and jellybean soonly x u is dual core but only 720p like live!! and remember price and internal memory is. a problem for android in x u! Live still capable not like Samsung armv6 craps

james, 27 Aug 2012live is a very capable phone. Only advantage with xperia u ... moreok thank you! As that i will buy live with walkman as it is capable like you said, very loud and as specs said it is wide enough and good in landscape also , And also i liked 720 p videos :) :) hope me nice chance

Only advantage with xperia u is better screen clarity, better design and multitasking. Live can take 32gb micro sd compared to 8gb xperia u which only has 6gb available to the user. Also xperia u screen is narrow so can be awkward in portrait mode. Live has dual speakers that blow all competition out the water and already has ics. Too close to call but for video xperia u is awsome as it has long narrow display - perfect for widescreen.

[deleted post]Lol. Nothing of this sort is gonna happen Mr. No-Android-fan. Only Samsung has to pay the bounty and it's not a big deal for a giant like Samsung. Samsung may have copied Iphone and they are gonna pay the price. Thats it. Such incidents are quite normal in this world. Neither Samsung nor Android is gonna be dead due to one law suit. It may not impact even 5% of Samsung sales, let alone Android. Further, it was already known that Samsung has copied Iphone. So what? If they have provided a similar experience to their users at 50% of the Iphone price, they deserve credit for it. Along with this fine on Samsung, another bigger and much more significant reality of today is that Samsung is the largest phone maker of the world. Law suits n patents etc are part of the game man. Wake up!

I dropped my mobile and the screen got cracked. I know that it doesn't comes under warranty. The touch screen is working perfectly fine but the crack at the screen annoys me. How much does it cost to replace the screen?

Sony Xperia U is so, good!! (gaming & browsing) to use., but the only disadvantage is no external memory slot....
