Love at first sight!!!
Gifted a Samsung Galaxy S plus to my brother around a month back.
Today, while searching through the humongous catalog of mobile phones on flipkart.com, I came across THE SONY XPERIA U! after applying just 3 filters, namely:
1. Android
2. Dual Core
3. Price Range
and bang, Xperia U came out winning with flying colors!
Then amidst the hoopla over a small issue, I have finally ordered this phone!!! It was really a love at first sight!!!
Guys, I myself a software engineer, and believe me nobody can be more hungry for space than I am :p
Order this phone if:
1. You are not a son of a millionaire :p (you are budget conscious that means)
2. Best dual core android out there in the market.
3. Amazing display boosting of Bravia Engine.
4. Sound and Camera quality which Sony is known for.
5. Not much concerned about the storage space.
6. Ever changing color light at the bottom (Doesn't look like a strong buying point on paper, errr... internet :p, But once you will get your hands on it, it will make you proud of your decision to buy it.
7. If you bored using the same old GUI of Samsung.

hi friends... I have one question about memory slot of this mobile. As specification says 2GB memory for applications. but for me 500mb memory is enough for applications. so can I use remaining 1.5GB for media files. plz reply fast experts & users....

For Video talk or chat-> download 'Tango'...its best android apps for android phone. its free. Both mobile phone should have tango installed. Skype is another option.

Any tips on increasing the recorded audio volume in video and other apps using the microphone? The microphone seems to be optimised purely for use as a phone, so other audio is recorded very quietly. Sony suggested I reflash the phone, but that made no difference, and I have seen other reports of the same.

guys xperia u is awesome....i bought it a week bfor n it works perfctly no problems nothin...must go fr dis instead f one v cz f specs no lags in any apps n cheaper dn one v too.........

Sony i think you should recruit new designers and new marketing staff as well, your fons looks all the same and even the advertisment looks the same with the same background same wallpaper .... oh god please be creative ... it's really getting boaring

i really don't understand, Sony is releasing lot of phones looks the same sound the same all Xperia with different names, till when we will be not serprized with sony phones ... we need to see something new with different design different spes and enough with the Xperia name PLEASE ...

That internal phone memory is 8GB and that External memory card type is MicroSD :S so im confused
