Love this phone, but the major let down is the lack of micro SD..my 4b card on my 5233 is already full too..now gettin to my question, regarding the capabilities of USB on the go, does it detect all card? now as we now android games are pretty big like 500mb and stuff, do u think u can install it on the pendrive?

My question, is how can I switch to multiple apps/programs opened? For example, I wanna run adobe reader, play temple run, check sms, check email and facebook all at same time without closing any of these I wanna switch. Is it possible? I worked with Nokia 5230 and it's working fine there

as given it is dual core 1GHZ processer. Does it mean that its processing power is 2 ghz.just like in pc. Please can someone tell me.

p1natic, 25 May 2012is it really 8gig internal memory? other websites says i... more8 gig total. My understanding: 4 gig for media (mp3, video etc), 2 gig for apps & their data, 2 gig reserved for Android system.

Just 2 mo... morei think your second question is answered, for the first one , you can download any application from Android Market such as Advanced Task Killer , or astro File Manager (as someone mentioned) and then kill the apps that r running.
Also , you can find running apps in Settings->Applications->Running Apps
you can do the same from there.

Well if front camera is a problem for you , wait for xperia P , its awesome mobile (as far as specs and build quality are concerned).
while you get NFC tags with sola and also floating touch , i'd rather say go for Sola or P.

Just 2 mo... more1) in xperia you will fined the application called astro file manager. In that you will find task killer, press it to see the running apps. to kill the apps press option button and select kill all option.
2) Xperia has built in swype keyboard. to activate it go to settings> Languages and keyboard> xperia keyboard > text input settings > select Gesture input and also activate space between gestures. This will activate in built swype.

AnonD-54305, 25 May 2012hey guys it has been a week since i am using the xperia u h... morejust turn off the background data option and set the brightness minimum and turn on the automatic brightness, it will increase the battery life. my phone can hold the charge for 1.5 days on normal usage. hope it will help you.

1. How to see the list of apps opened so that I can close unwanted ones or the ones I didn't close properly? (Like in Symbian you hold the home button and you will see the list of opened apps)
2. How to change the keyboard to Swype when texting? I couldn't find any such option

Is it that you have the camera app running and you want to take s shot with dedicated key ?
or you want to launch the camera app with that key?
Well in the first case : you must change your capture mode to camera button
and the second : you need to fully press the camera key for 2-3 seconds and the camera will be launched
