USB on the go cable is just a standard adapter from Usb to micro Usb, to be able to plug a memory stick into the micro Usb of the phone. Doesn't even need to be a cable, a 3$ adapter is enough...

Hi everyone my name is sandeep and i am from Bangalore. I just picked up this Sony xperia u from Bangalore for 16k and this one is good handset
the only limitation is you can insert your favourite memory card which has a solution the phone supports usb otg all you need to do is purchase a Nokia Usb otg cable which is available for 150 to 200 bucks and you can connect your pen drive and watch your favourite movies. I had a option of buying sola which is a price difference of 4k which i dropped it
guys who thinking of purchasing this phone can go for it coz for 16k you getting a dual core which Samsung doesn't offer

this model supports voice and video by gtalk, yahoo messenger. it is supporting skype video chat(using front cam) or not? What about the speed of phone (not using in media) for message, searching phone book, etc,? Weather it has call conv. recording or not(Direct recording)? I am planning to buy a mobile?
The main thing required is call conv. recording, video chat using font cam in any social networks or by skype, camera clarity (In close ups - text in books), speed in call and message options, battery backup minimum 24 hours (over all usage is 1 hour) any user reply this.

similar to that you get with your nokia... moreYesterday I went to purchase U for my wife and happen to carry Neo V. We almost finalised the deal but being a music fan, we requested for loudspeaker play. We were in for a negative surprise. The sound was quite muffled and not crisp. Not believing Sony to be a letdown in sound department, we transferred a instrumental from our Neo V to Sony store U and played side by side. There was huge difference in clarity and volume. Being small (U) I was ready to tradeoff some but the difference was unacceptable.
We returned without purchase and waiting for P now to test both - the sound and deathgrip issue cropping up on various sites.

If u want good camera quality than u must go for Sony....and then HTC/samsung..!!
I have worked on Xperia U....n its fone like lil' cute baby....its camera quality is like Samsung's 8Mp...or i think Its better than Samsung's 8Mp..
I suggest u to go for Xperia U ..blindly n without any doubt.....
But one thing u must remember that..xperia u has 4Gb memory only..!!
So keeping that in mind....make ur decisions..!! :))

this phone is great... limited storage (4GB) can expand with usb flash drive with mini usb adaptor.. feel use new phone everyday...
