Cannot understand the logic of just having 4Gb memory for personnal storage (+ 2 Gb for apps and 2 Gb for OS)with no memory card, when the new Sola has the same memory but has a memory card...
Obviously as both phones should be in the same category and price range, everyone will buy the Sola. And me also.

beautifull device from sony :-) sure i will buy it :-). 3.5 screen size great 1 ghz dual core . the performance will be great . and about memory no problem :-) 4gb is not bad .

i dont like the design :(
they could increase display height by removing xperia text from bottom.

Many say is too small 4 GB, 4 GB is actually quite good, especially the Sony Xperia U can use USB OTG, you can connect a USB Flash Drive 32 GB on the little great.

Sony has gone crazy..
No SD card slot even in this..
It was understood no SD card slot in 32 gb or 16 gb...
But this is super duper Flop..

The phones great.They could have made the internal memory at about 16gb since it can shoot hd videos or add an sd slot with support upto 16gb.One thing I dont understand is that in the MWC 2012 gsarena coverage they said the phone can shoot 1080p videos but in the specs it is given as 720p.Please clarify.

The Internal memory is 8GB and not 4. There has been a mistake on Sony website which has been corrected now

i hope Sony will release variety of Storage option for All NXT Series,
XPERIA U,P,S should have 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options. Sony Please if you want success sell your product with good options. its possible because i you make. and i believe

why did sony wast there time in making this phone...1) 4 gb is a small space if someone wants to have HD games and videos and 2) only 512 mb ram :-(

Well, a hard fact to gulp down.
This phone has only 4GB internal memory, non-expandable.
That being confirmed by looking up on the Sony Official Site.
It's a shame on Sony's name !
I would've bought this phone given that the specs almost kills the likes of iPhone but, I guess, 4GB is a bit too low for my tastes.
Disappointment.

dudes it has 8 gigs of memory for god's sake 2 gigs for os 6 gigs which is partitioned to 4 gigs free memory for whatever you will put on the phone and 2 gigs for whatever you will install on the xperia.
