This is a very terrible phone. don't waste your 12,000 rupees in this stupid box of shit. i have personally used this phone and after 10 days it's speaker went off and i had to purchase a new speaker for 1000 rupees. And a month after, it just stopped working. i tried everything to power on this but no. And it is not going to be upgraded in android 4.0 icecream sandwich, it will always remain gingerbread. you cannot transfer music or photos from your pc to te phone and you cannot take apps like chrome browser or update any of the apps to a newer version. So don't go on the looks and camera of the phone. It is just a stupid box of shit.

Fine phone - as long as you don't use Facebook.
After two years of daily usage, with many later phones coming into my hands, I still find that the extremely manageable size, weight, feel and apparent heft of this phone make it a worthy daily driver. However, the perceived lack of RAM memory many had mentioned earlier only becomes an issue when using the Facebook app, which effectively kills any semblance of performance the phone is capable of. If you want this phone to keep performing well, don't use the Facebook app; you'd be better off accessing Facebook through one of the browsers instead. Other than that, the two specimens I have had for quite a while now (in consumer electronics terms, that is,) have been nothing short of stellar. Even having bought many later phones with much better specifications, I still pick up the U and go out and about out of sheer nostalgia.

im using this since 2years..... most powerful 5mp camera ever seen.. 3d head set sound is awesome.. cute looking mobile... lovely hd display quality.... battery life is good.. but low memory capacity i love this xperia u sooooo much
