when i upgrade my XU i found many problems on my phone ...and main problem is screen touch ....when i upgrade my phone in ICS they damage my touchscreen fully ...so do not buy XU..plz

sonu ky, 13 May 2013its possible to upgrade internal memory Total 8GB. 2GB for system, 2GB for user apps, and 4GB for multimedia and other purpose. You cannot expand it, but you can use USB Storage Devices via USB on-the-go cable. Search XDA forums for mounting USB Storage devices on to your XU.

I don't know what issues you are encountering with ICS on your XU. Try a clean install of ICS. Search in XDA forums for help on flashing ICS firmwares onto XU. Performance and Battery life depend on how many apps you run on your XU. Get root and freeze apps that you don't use frequently. You can defrost apps later. This is how I use my XU. It's good. Big deceptions with this phone:
- lost of GSM signal quite often (not related with the operator's network or SIM card),
- weak battery (one week maximum with low usage)
- pictures numbering restarts after transferring them, so you get the same name for new photos
- low memory available because of many applications pre-installed that you cant't get rid of.
Already upgraded to Android 4.0.1, sent back to Sony for warranty

I have updated mine via Pc Comp... moreI have 60-70 MB free plus the old firmware(6.1.1.B.1.10) where had 130-140 MB free.Now I have even 220 MB free,sometime.This is more stable ,whitout lagging,freezing.Try 6.1.1.C.1.10 the last firmware for this Xperia U!
