Been using my xperia v for more than 3 months now. Upgraded to JB as well.. Love it! It's like a mid-range xperia z. Graphics wise it's great, sound not so loud but ok but battery drains like a boss but I'm a heavy user. I dipped it in water several times and it works perfectly fine.. Go for it! Go for any Xperia phone. It'll be worth it..:-)

vs, 14 Apr 2013Hi guys can u help me out which is having superior camera c... moreHi there, if what you want is a good integrated camera, then i believe none of the phones you listed are gonna satisfy you. I am a camera lover, currently own the Sony Xperia V and the iPhone 4s.
In the past SonyEricsson used to have gr8 cameras on their phones, with the recent Sony phones... Cameras are slow, not fun to play with and their "SMART" designers thought it would be best to even remove teh camera shutter button.
iPhone generally doesn't put much effort into its cameras.
The cameras are ok though for still pics during the day when there is more than enough light. Come nightfall... The cameras will wipe the smile off your face.
So I will say go for the Nokia N8 IF you can find one, or just go for the Nokia Pureview 808 and you'll love all the pics that you capture with those anytime :)

Great phone... So on the specs it says that can hold 1 meter and 30 minutes under water.. Heres my question , can we text under water? Can we take pictures under water? And if we make use to it under water , would it go "Crazy" ? But dispite those questions im buying tomorrow.

despite negative reviews on gsmarena i thought to try it myself.in fact there are no worries about my decision.with JB its a real looker and performs fast.no simple lag at all.good camera. battery lasts for 1.5 days with average use.( anyway i usually keep my phone switched off at night).good value for money. dont be so much bothered on others opinions (even mine) :). go for it!

Bought mine 2 weeks ago with Android 4.1.2 out of the box. I have since updated it to firmware build 9.1.A.1.140 yesterday. The specs are great for a midrange phone; very comfortable to operate in one hand, reasonable fast and not too heavy. I have not experienced the dreaded SOD myself. My major complaint is the battery life: I have to charge at least twice a day even when battery-saving measures were used (turning off bluetooth, mobile data, etc.). I also found that the usable internal memory is only about 5 GB, and I can't move my apps to an external SD card (at least without a hack). I wish Sony came up with a bigger capacity battery for Xperia V, this would have been THE perfect phone. Nevertheless, a great phone all around. Bonus points for the removable battery and the SD card slot.

AnonD-128708, 11 Apr 2013which will be better sony v or acro s??????????helpI believe Xperia V is much better, bcz its processor is better than Acro S and also it has Bravia Engine 2.
u can also check out its benchmark scores.
In addition, Xperia V has some advantages over Acro S in Camera, Bluetooth , etc.
