vince2169, 06 Jan 2013my phone says around 4gb internal memory instead of 8gb. is... moreMost probably due to the fact that the
"Memory comprises 1.2 GB of firmware, 2 GB of “Phone memory” for downloaded applications, and
about 3.7 GB of “Internal storage” for music, pictures and movies, and some application data.
You can see how much Internal Storage is available under Settings > Storage > Phone memory. In
the Xperia™ v, about 3.7 GB is available as Internal Storage.
In the Xperia™ v, the three areas of persistent memory (System Memory, Phone Memory, and Internal
Storage), together with some small memory allocations for system operations, share 8 GB of built-in
eMMC memory."
This is from the "white paper" for xperia V.
So I don't think it's a fault. cheers.

I cannot receive LTE signal on this phone from my Rogers wireless LTE network in Ontario, Canada. If I put my SIM card in my wife's Samsung Galaxy III, she can receive LTE signal on her phone. According to Xperia V, it is supposed to support LTE 2100 and 2600. I think Rogers uses LTE 2100 in Ontario but somehow my Xperia V cannot receive 3G signal. I bought my phone from Hong Kong. Not sure whether I need to change any setting for different LTE signal.

Hi,
could anyone please tell me the disadvantages of buying the phone in singapore and using it in india?
Do i have to unlock the phone after getting it to india?
and even though i'll be using it in india i'll be able to upgrade it to the official JB release right?
Thanks!!
