AnonD-72084, 18 Sep 2012good in philippines is cheaper....Heard any rumors about philippine prices? Im expecting it to be cheaper than Galaxy S3 but not a whole bunch cheaper, im quite sure it will cost more than php 25k, but below 30k, so its still cheap for specs like these. It easily outperforms Galaxy S3, thats gotta be worth something also.

Another webshop in norway has it listed at $770. still expensive but getting better now =)

i am dreaming th... moreip5 does not cost $299, thats price with a plan, tied to one US network. Ip5 sim free cost 529 BRITISH POUNDS for the cheapest model 16GB. Xperia V will cost less but not a whole lot less. $600 sounds like a reasonable price. I found simfree Xperia V for preorder in Norway, its $800, clearly overprice but it clearly suggests this is not a cheap phone.

One thing I'm sure of...the price is going to be a huge turn-off. Nothing less that 32-35k INR. ($580-640)

i am dreaming this phone will not be that expensive, after all sony presented it as a mid range, perhaps they want to actively compete with the others, keep in mind that the "outstanding innovative" iphone5 is set at $299 so i do hope this doesn't get so high, but even if it does.. i will end up getting it, just hope that sony releases this all around the world, i will be traveling a lot and would be very thankful if i find support everywhere i go.
also, please could someone confirm the micro sim slot?

I seen some preliminary prices in Europe, its 15 to 20% more expensive than Xperia Acro S, and around 10-12% higher than Xperia Ion. I dont know how much those cost in INR, but i would be surprised if Xperia V comes out at less than 30,000.
Just look at the specs, this is a waterproof HD phone with dual S4 and LTE, this is no midrange handset.
