After upgradign to android 4.0.4, those problems will be gone and the touch response will be smooth and the network will not drop. Try that.

        Relally bad experiance i have purchased the xperia U but this phone is having lot of touch problems and hardware and network problems.many times touch does not work and signals is also allways going and coming... don't buy this phone at all.

            What? VGA frontal? No radio? Why Sony always make their phones look so awesome but not with everything? It's like last year that Sony make an amazing Arc S with no frontal cam. They should know that frontal camera is very important to people nowadays especially for skype people and facebook photo upload addiction people.

                  but
                  On Xperia V's Official White Paper,
                  Sony says it has Radio (FM radio with RDS)
                  (In "Categorised feature list" entertainment tab)

                  can we trust the original vendors White paper

Bu... morethe mobile bravia engine 2 is present in this mobile and its a shatter proof also,so don't think that screen is bad.and sony mobiles display are always better than others.and its price is going to be around 30k or maybe exceed bcoz its a rugged phone.

                          Sony people please disclose the price of This phone....We are waiting for such kind of rigid phone long back. Launch it as early as possible in India also we want to buy this.....

                            Primark, 31 Aug 2012not really sure, to begin with, prior the xperia series, th... moreI really doubt that, since the benchmarks in this phone beats even the xperia t, it has Bravia Engine 2, Clear Audio tech., lte and the rest its practically the same: the HD screen, The krait processors, the GPU adreno 225, despite the internal memory, but when you got the micro sd slot that isn´t a issue, really . . . I specialy like the phone, apart of what i just told, for the water proof feature, the only con is that makes it kind of chubby . . .

                                I hope there will be HSPA version because LTE is not yet supported in Malaysia and thr LTE version is not coming to Malaysia, confirmed by CNET Asia. HSPA version please!

                                  sony xperia v could have been perfect phone at least for me if they have included that similar image chip found on the htc one series. samsung galaxy and acer cloudmobile mimics that kind of stuff on their camera phones and its a very very cool feature isnt it?
