Guys, last mid year i was confused about this phone. They all always shout about battery life was terrible. I have no review about xperia v in my country (i live in Indonesia), no one use this phone here but i love this phone so much.
I was confused, then i bought this phone at 14 dec 2013. And i think this phone was perfect for me, how about the battery life? I use this phone everyday, streaming, surfing, chatting and it takes about 7-12 hours. I have a portable charger here, and its doesnt matter to me. Dont say i'm fool, if you say the battery life was bad, remember how you use this phone.

Conclution: this phone was amazing, you can hold this phone by one hand. And its worth it with the price.

Sorry for my bad english

Anyway i bought a spare battery (Mugen), i always have it in my bullet so now i never think about battery.

Besides, if you underclock the processor to 702 you could have even more juice.

Samaaar, 13 Jan 2014battery is too bad.......what can i do for this prob???you can use battery saving tips, all are having problems about battery therefore i will copy hare user manual page 13- 14 .

Charge your device often. This will not affect the lifetime of the battery.
          • Downloading data from the Internet is power consuming. When you're not using the
Internet, you can save power by disabling all data connections over mobile networks.
This setting does not prevent your device from transmitting data over other wireless
          networks.
          • Turn off GPS, Bluetooth™ and Wi-Fi® when you don't need these features. You can
turn them on and off more easily by adding the Quick settings widget to your Home
screen. You do not need to turn off 3G.
          • Use the Extended Standby Mode setting to minimise battery consumption when the
          screen is inactive.
          • Set your synchronisation applications (used to synchronise your email, calendar and
contacts) to synchronise manually. You can also synchronise automatically, but
          increase the synchronisation intervals.
          • Check the battery usage menu in your device to see which applications use the most
power. Your battery consumes more power when you use video and music streaming
applications, such as YouTube™. Some applications downloaded from Google
Play™ may also consume more power.
          • Close and exit applications that you are not using.
          • Lower the screen display brightness level.
Turn off your device or activate the Airplane mode setting if you are in an area with
no network coverage. Otherwise, your device repeatedly scans for available
          networks, and this consumes power.
          • Use a Sony original handsfree device to listen to music. Handsfree devices demand
less battery power than your device's own loudspeakers.
          • Keep your device in standby mode whenever possible. Standby time refers to the
time during your device is connected to the network and is not being used.
          • Disable any live wallpaper.

Sanjaya LS, 12 Jan 2014im going 2 buy a xperia v.please anyone can say about it's ... moreBe warned, do not buy Xperia V, its an unusually attractive and nice phone to hold and look at but thats only on the surface, with daily use it is insufficient in so many ways, and way overpriced. Extremely bad battery, very bad frontcam, Sleep Of Death issues, low user available internal storage, not smooth performance due to only 1GB RAM.

Xperia V is a lemon, dont let its beauty fool you.
