    @phone-geeky
Do you seriously want me to answer in behalf of the admin? LOL. Back read again dear, i didn't call you a fool. I just told you not to make a fool out of yourself here. I was stopping you actually to become one. :D..
OMG!it wasn't me, its shinitz. Why take it against me when its wasn't me who claimed that V can play 20hours straight HD Games?? I am not willing to take responsible for the things i never posted. And fyi,i never mentioned anything about the battery in my first post.
    Ok what xperia phone specifically?
Well based on my experience, as a certified xperia V user and not just someone who cherry-picked information from any website, i can honestly tell you that this phone is great for its price range. I didn't experience SOD and overheating. Yes admittedly battery is not that great but definitely its not as bad as you assumed. Ok for argument sake, lets say i got a faulty sony xperia phone, then why in the world would i defend it? Where's the logic? Would you defend someone or something that ruined your trust? It doesn't make sense at all. LOL. And sorry to disappoint you dear but i got the best one. Thanks Sony!

i know u didn't say it can last 20 hours 20 hours playing hd games, but who said that ????? hmmmmm lets see , just scroll down to see ur first reply to me in which i replied to a post u obviously didn't read .

i am a sony xperia user

if this phone cant operate normally without under-clocking because it overheats causing battery draining and rebooting, then it is a faulty phone and whether u like or not, u got yourself a defective product, so admit it and don't just defend the phone because u already bought it.

[deleted post]If you're indeed a sony xperia user you won't criticize the phone the way you did. Because Sony makes a good and decent phones. Just don't expect a sony low-end or midrange phone(or any phone for that matter) to operate as powerful as high-end phones of samsung.LOL Hmm but to be fair i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, what xperia phone have you tried using?
Read my post again dear. Did i ever claim that V can last 20 hours playing HD games ? You're barking up the wrong tree.*wink*

Ionut, 24 Oct 2013@ Tester: have you ever had any SoD (sleep of death) issues... more-I have never had asy SOD with 4.1.2.
-i rooted my Xperia V 2 months after buying it
-i have had "the updates" for another 2 months
-Most of the "updates" i have told you are only apps that you can install or unistall if you dont like. The rest are mods that you can flash with Clockworkmod, but if you make a backup before, you can always undone the mods.
                          -The apps:
No-Frill CPU: works perfect (it is needed to be root)
                          Thumb-keyboard: works perfect
                          Puffin, Opera:works perfect
Full!Screen: works perfect except when you unlock the screen because during half a second sometimes the screen turn blue. If you dont like you can unistall it or enable it only when you want to surfer.
                          Automatic Brightness: perfect
                          Night camera and ProHDR: perfect.
                          Clockworkmod: works perfect
-The root way: i think Doomloord let you undone the root, but i have never wanted to do it. It is very easy to root the phone (only one click). If you get rooting the phone, you will see, when the phone starts, turn on the light sensor during a second .
-The mods: first of all you need to install the APP clockworkmod and make a backup that let you undone any change. Later you can install the following:
PureXaudio V11: works great!: to enable go to walkman options. It is neccesary to mount system before flashing: all of this is very easy to do, read the link i wrote before.
White balance: it is stable and works well, i couldnt stand my yellowish screen! but it has a minimum issue that i had forgotten: it takes to be enabled a second from you unlock the screen, i mean, there is a second of delay. When you unlock the screen the first second you have the screen as always, but from that time on the screen is like you have set in the white balance. It is very difficult to notice this, and it only happens once when you unlock the screen, that is the reason many people like anyway. Reed the link i wrote.
                          Cheers.

@ Tester: have you ever had any SoD (sleep of death) issues with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean? How much time have you used the clean android 4.1.2, till the moment when you decided to do all of these updates? Did you use for a long time these updates (which transformed your phone into "xperia v1")? Are they stable? Thanks

Well, i am going to sumarize the enchances i have got. That doesn’t mean that I have solved issues , on the contrary, it means my phone has been upgrade to a new phone, that we could call XPERIA V1. To do that i recommend to root your phone with DOOMLORD and make a back up with CWM before. That was i used for my xperiav 4.1.2 jelly bean, it was very easy. You can download it in http://forum.xda-developers.co...hp ?t=2366577

                                    Enchances:
                                    1) Increasing the battery 25% and reduce heating without affecting perfonmance: install No-Frills CPU or Set CPU and set the processor to 702.
                                    2) Better keyboard: I think Thumb Keyboard is the app that improved a lot the phone because increase the distance between keys, and make keys bigger.
                                    3) Puffin browser: is the fastest browser. Increase by 500% the stock one.If you don’t want to pay, use Opera that is good aswell and free
                                    4) Increase the screen: with Full!Screen app you can get real 4,3 “ , it is like if you had a xperia z (Xperia Z only have 4,4” usable because of botton bar).
                                    5) White balance: XperiaT_JB_140_White_Balance_Settings_v2
                                    http://forum.xda-developers.co ...1&page=9
Values: 13,7 and 219,4 Now the white is white not yellow!
                                    6) Automatic Brightness: Its better to use the app Advanced Brightness because you can set the brightness for every hour and save 5-10% battery.
                                    7) Sound: My smartphone now sounds louder and clear. Just Install that:
                                    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220725
                                    Use V11 of PureXaudio.
                                    8) Camera: the stock camera is very good if you know how to use it. I always use automatic mode in general. Sometimes backlight scene, and in pubs sometimes I use document scene with flash. At night for landscapes i recommend to use Night Camera, but support the phone on something. ProHDR APP is very good if you have time to make HDR.

Now xperia V is perfect, in my opinion much better than xperia Z or Samsumg S4 which have big problems: (overheating, too much o too few screen colour, big size, non replacement battery or not waterproff, too much noise in photos, big size…)

Wellcome to another phone, welcome to XPERIA V1!
