I love the Xperia V. Overall, this is an above average phone to have.
Positives:
1. No need to be scared of water spills or rain
2. Great pixel density
3. LTE at such a low price
4. New shipments have Jellybean out of the box (as with mine)
5. 13MP camera better than expected.
Negatives:
1. Battery could be better
2. Camera lens placement a little strange, since fingers usually get in the way on horizontal shots
3. Apps can't be installed on memory card unless phone is rooted
I'd freely recommend the V to everyone who can't afford the Z but want LTE and water protection.

Otherwise,
cam quality is above avg, vid rec is awesome,
used its water resistance feat. at its peak while clicking pics in rain-poring weather.
Talking abt heavy applications, Enjoy playing "Real Racing 3" (near abt 1.3gb),works flawless, without any lags.
Battery is a bit pblm, which is all Android bound smart phones..:'(
Thnx to sony's nice choice of Chipset "Qualcom Snapdrag s4 series", it haven't hung since baught.
OTG is really nice, make use of it..:D

I just bought my Xperia V (Jellybean 4.1.2 out of the box). It's quite cool and stylish. I'm lovin' the color and the superb camera. The durability is good and it is water/dustproof. Heating is not the problem at all because it is a smartphone. Fast performance. High Five Sony.

Does i... moreit's slim, weightless and gorgeous looking phone. display is as good as any of the current xperia lineup(check out for its display technology). it has 8gb internal memory----2gb for apps, (system memory) 4gb for media and download,
(called internal memory) if u wish u can move it to sdcard from internal memory(not directly from system memory). u can also move some movable apps from system memory to internal memory(only if the application supports that).

I hv bought one from eBay. it's working nicely. only issue is I can't find accessories in local market. u hv to find it online. I hate bigger phones or heavy weight phones. so Xperia v is perfect for me.

Good phone,,better than Xperia SP or Xperia SL....
its good for gaming and camera.long battery life.
