Overall the camera of this smartphone is definitely superior to the s6 for sure, but keep in mind no 4k video recording.

Devang , 28 Jan 2017Any hitting problem in this phone I have used this phone two months. Phone is very good, but batterylife is not very good. I don't play games or don't watch videos. Just net browsing during the day and battery needs charcing late afternoon. Previous phone Samsung S5 battery lasted much longer.

Frenna , 27 Jan 2017Bought this phone today and after using it for the last cou... moreThanks for your awesome review I was going to buy S6 today you have save my money dude.Today before I leave for Market I thought to read some latest reviews of phones that I want to buy and look what I have found is XPERIA X is better than S6.... I really don't like AMOLEDs (because burn in and they are expensive if one broke it) and also Touchwiz UI.I was going to buy it because of its camera, and Market value (because I can get some variety of covers,protectors, cases), which I can't get for Xperia because there is no market of it and I am that type of person who always protect his device with everything available in market for that phone.

Xperia x has the best performance, it beats all other companies flagships,camera is amazing too,battery is quite decent and no heating issue, all phones become hot during hard usage it's very ordinary, but no overheating, get x performance it's a masterpiece, if it's not available get x and enjoy high speed ultra quality smartphone

Really confused between X and X performance.... I don't have believe in Snapdragon 820.... because of Snapdragon 810 Heating disaster.... so the thongs that bothers me are heating,camera quality, battery, performance

Even when first setting up the phone and downloading software updates and all apps it didn't heat up just a very little bit. I've played some games to test the performance and even then then the heat was very minimal compared to other phones I've used in the past

An addition to my review that I posted a couple of minutes ago.
The fingerprint sensor in the side power button is the best solution compared to other brands, even better than iPhones fingerprint button. I'm left handed, and I've registered my index and middle finger and it's really accurate even when pushing it with the lower side of those fingers. Alway accurate and instant unlocking. Oh and one more thing, it has double tap to wake which I really like.

Bought this phone today and after using it for the last couple of hours, all I can say is I'm really impressed! I came from a Galaxy S6, and the Xperia X is faster, smoother (SD 650 performs superb along with Sony's software optimization), it has Android Nougat (S6 still on MM), camera is great, also satisfied with the much better battery life (70% left after 2 hours screen-time).
The screen has a lower FHD resolution compared to the S6's QHD, but I actually prefer Xperia's display MUCH more, it has a higher max brightness and the colors are true to life and pure white compared to yellowish white on Samsung. I hope phone makers will continue putting IPS screens because I don't like AMOLED. When put next to each other and watching Instagram photos, the Xperia puts the S6 to shame, it's really beautiful so good job Sony :) And last but not least the build quality is really premium and it feels great in the hand not slippery at all. Now that I have the Xperia X, I realize how girly Samsung's phones actually are. A perfect phone for men especially in black color.
Bought this phone for 370 euro in The Netherlands. The S7 costs 610 euro , the Iphone 7 is 750 euro. So a very good price for the Xperia X with mid-range specs on paper, but literally everything about this phone is high-end when using it in real life.
