AnonD-481725, 14 Dec 2016Hey there, be careful from trolls and lies, the anonymous w... moreThanks ALi what should I do in that case I really like Sony Phones but these - ve kind comments make me feel not to buy Sony Infect in my country there is no market value of Sony, No official warranty available the brands those are popular in my country are Samsung, OPPO, Huawei, and people always use to recommend me phone from these brands...so I have to think a lot before I one and also I don't want to loose my hard earn money ... Camera and Lag free experience is my first priority.

It seems to be water resistant too even if not advertised or claimed as such.
Anyways, I indeed believe a XZ Compact or alike is on its way.
But I like the pricing of this one more now. For lower price (350€ now) I get all the quality Xperia features minus ones I really dont care about, like 4k video and highest perform game graphics (although it is indeed on sd808 graphics level).

AnonD-620712, 14 Dec 2016My phones from Sony was and still are a dream come true, 3 ... moreYes and No, sony makes great smartphones yes, but their midrange smartphones especially nowadays are very good quality, the right word to say is that people shouldn't expect a flagship performance from a midrange smartphones, while in fact, even their midrange smartphones some of them are half flagships in real life like Xperia x and x compact.

Did anyone consider the XZ before buying the Xc?
For me, it comes down to XZ is waterproof versus Xc has FM radio. Which is more important?

While I of course didn't expect AAA quality, I didn't expect faulty phone with non working basic function as GPS either. Xperia Z3 Compact that my friend had cost more than Xperia M but it was letdown too. Based on my experience I think that Sony phones are overpriced and low quality. Maybe not all, but you can find lots of complains on the net even about top of the line phones.

However, sad to point out, the Xperia X compact is no longer following Sony's former Top of the Line Compact legacy, the latest compact is just a mid-range phone, and alas no waterproofing. This is a no go for me. No thanks, I'll stick with my Z5 Compact.

My phones from Sony was and still are a dream come true, 3 compacts thus far. Sony makes great phones, you just need to get the top of the line. You shouldn't expect AAA quality if you only want to pay with peanuts for mid to low range Sony models

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2016what happened my friend please elaborate so others who are ... moreI had Xperia M - GPS did not work properly from the start and my phone very often could not get coordinates at all. It was never fixed. FM tuner did not work at all from the start too but it was at least fixed after some time with a firmware update. Battery life was awful - it lasted hardly half a day with moderate usage. And in the end my phone died with internal storage failure and I lost my data. My friend had Xperia Z3 Compact with different hardware problems but similarly awful experience.

It's sad that almost nobody except Sony makes these compact phones. I prefer them but as a former owner of Sony phone will never buy anything from this firm even if it was only remaining phone in the universe. My phone from Sony was nightmare.
