410 is too slow, even with the 2GB RAM. Processor is important, and you can also find that phones with the 410 such as Moto G struggle to play games even at 720p.
625 is a midrange processor. Once again, during heavy multitasking the difference between 625 and a 650 will be evident.
X Compact is supposed to be a flagship miniature phone. How can they put a slow processor like a S625 on that?
People wanted a S820 equipped miniature compact phone. Sony's Compact line were high end phones, with flagship grade internals. Putting a processor like 625 would be a shame.

Please note that even 410 can run Android with almost no lag as long as there's at least 2G Ram. We don't always needs the most powerful SoC, battery life is just as important.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016Sony won't die. Never.Their mobile-division isn't really that far from being closed if they magically don't begin to sell more phones. There's a damn good reason for low sales; the bad quality just doesn't gather interest.

WTF! How did you decide that the 650 is a crap processor AND it's worst than 652?!?
They are right next to each other on the top 10 of the smartphone processor benchmark list and if you look at benchmark scores of phones with those processors the score of the 650 is higher than 652. It's written black on white there! You can't just make things up. Here's an example of two phones with 652:
the LG G5 SE highest scores - single core 1252 multi core 2490
Samsund S9 pro 2016 (that even has 4gb ram, not 3 like the others) - single core 1250 multi core 2607
And the bench for the new X compact with the 650 - single core 1375 and multi core 3352
So how is this crap processor?

I swear that people complain about the lack of waterproof even their phone stays cool or they complain about the heat when it is waterproof ( for instance z5).

My only slight niggle with previous generation handsets has been the volume. It was a bit on the low side.
