X has metal chasis covered with polycarbonate for better drop dexterity, metal on back that certainly will not shatter when dropped...
its a better build.
X is cheaper 20€ than A9 with same class SoC, bigger but not better screen, worse camera, worse sound system, and most certainly worse performance.

I think people need to show some patience with X series. This is introduction of series.
The best will come in September/October.

Plastic with metal back is cheap, plastic is cheap. And that plain- flat- metal back also easiest to create. I can make something like that. I only need scissor, ruler and drill.
While to make a metal chassis like in A team is far costier and complicated. Look at s7 teardown article, look at that metal chassis.
Metal chassis sandwiched with dual gorilla glass 4 is better build.

Sony moved to a new method of real life demanding, which is what sony are always professional at. they still offer a good price range between $550-$600, nowadays it doesn't consider expensive!

Really Disappointed with the X Performance, 3 GB ram, 2700 battery and no new features like the fast battery charging since when the other companies surpass the Sony Xperia!!!
