Avan Dr, 23 Jun 2016Hi Po.. Thats too long, but i have read the first paragraph... moreTo be honest, my phones are mostly gifts, so when I picked myself the XV, I do it without looking at specs before, just at the store, look, feel, and if it's good I'll choose it. Somehow, Z5 premium didn't give me the same feel like when I first try the XV, like something is off or different. First time seeing S6 and Note 4 (Note 5 still not launched yet), I prefer Note 4 far better than S6 (dislike the camera bump and lack of external memory, but mostly, fortunately S7 fixed them plus waterproof). Perhaps it's just me disliking glass back phones? I dunno

X series seems to be a good one, but I'll make my choice after I get my hand on it, and if Sony decides to sell it here.

Bagas Satya, 23 Jun 2016wow.. wow. you sumarize it quickly, and brought it here. Yo... moreI'm still a student. Anyway, is it funny to make joke about people who have no job? I suggest two things for you, one is to avoid this kind of joke on the future for your own sake, next is to use reply link on the bottom right whenever you want to reply to someone.

"I never find Sammy make a reply", is it true? I mean, why?

AnonD-537563, 21 Jun 2016Regarding your experience, I'm sorry for your bad experienc... moreHi Po.. Thats too long, but i have read the first paragraph. And you confirmed about the after sales 'was' bad in your country. And your XV quality is good. All 2012 xperia is good quality like Sony Ericsson phones, but the specs are lower than competitor and the battery capacity are small. Like their first phone xperia P, when all vendor used quad core processor, they used dual core novator.

Then 2013 they changed with Z series and friend, their specs abetter than Sammy's, also better featured. It made me interested. Then I found that the quality degrades

RockStar2005, 22 Jun 2016hey panda, Well I meant the FLAGSHIP Xperia phones lol..... moreI activate my Stamina Mode on my Xperia V, but haven't tried the 360 Hibernation app myself. For now, I used 2 Battery app, free version though. I plan to try it when I get XP, if Sony will release it on Indonesia (the staff said that ETA is perhaps after Eid), since Sony haven't said anything about TKDN regulation (basically, all smartphones vendors have to choose either 100% hardware or 100% software being made in Indonesia). LG only sells G5 SE (means no G5, others types are there. Perhaps because of TKDN case, I dunno), OnePlus opted out from Indonesian market (for now) and Huawei hasn't launch P9 officially here because of this regulation.

I couldn't agree more! It's obvious.......... my parents both have the Xperia Z1s from 2 1/2 years ago.......only has 2 GBs of RAM and an older processor. It STILLS loads up apps etc faster than the S7 did. lol

AnonD-537563, 22 Jun 2016I disagree on all Xperia phones looks premium, since E4 is ... morehey panda,

Well I meant the FLAGSHIP Xperia phones lol.........the Z series and now the XP (I don't consider X or XA flagships lol).

I think the XP's body is very unique. Brushed aluminum backside with a hairline finish? Dude that backside is a work of art IMO! lol

Battery seems to be pretty good. I think Z3's battery life was a lil better, but still. I had a few ppl on XDA ask me about that, and so I contributed some battery data to them. You can see about it here........... http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-x-performance/how-to/sony-xperia-x-performance-t3321246/page20. But yeah, if you have Xperia, you GOTTA get 360 Hibernation Master app from Play Store, full version. It's like Stamina Mode but better. And of course QC 3.0 wall and car chargers are a good investment too.

RockStar2005, 22 Jun 2016(3 of 3) Body: The S7 has a premium look to it like the... moreI disagree on all Xperia phones looks premium, since E4 is .... you know.... but mostly yea. They may not have unique body, but they still looks and feels good.

any news about the battery, RockStar2005?

                          (3 of 3)

Body: The S7 has a premium look to it like the XP, but I favor the XP's more b/c of the brushed aluminum backside. Let's not forget that the Sony's Xperia phones have always looked premium, where the S5 had a plastic body. Just sayin'. lol

Both have gorgeous premium bodies, but I slightly favor the XP's more, esp with the brushed aluminum w/ the hairline finish on the back of my graphite black one. And let's not forget, Sony's Xperia phones have always been premium. The S5 had a plastic body. lol

                              (2 of 3)

UI/Settings Menu: S7's UI TouchWiz is f'ing GARBAGE man. Although the S7 feaures 4GBs of RAM and the XP 3, the XP definitely loads things up more swiftly and smoothly. Downloading MAY be faster on the S7, but even if so, how often are you downloading vs jumping around from app to app? lol The Settings Menu on the S7 is better than the S5's was......... less complicated, but they still could do more. The XP's is pretty simple and finding things is easier to me.

AnonD-551899, 22 Jun 2016I have gone through some reviews and found that xperia x pe... moreqalam, (1 of 3)

I had the S7 for months and I think the XP is the better phone. Both phones are great "overall", but there were things about the S7 that bugged me..........

Audio: The S7 has ONE speaker placed at the bottom end of the phone. The XP has 2 FRONT-facing stereo speakers. The audio quality is fantastic, while the S7's single speaker sounds f'ing awful. I'm not even half-kidding dude. Drum sounds render like someone's shooting a laser gun. lol Also, when listening to headphones using the S7's MicroUSB port, the S7 constantly skips while playing music......like every 2-3 minutes. Last night I listened to music on my XP for a SOLID HOUR and it DIDN'T skip once!

Camera: Both have great cameras, but to me I notice that the XP's camera is slightly more color accurate. The S7's has a tendency to oversaturate certain colors, making them look more artificial.

Screen: Both have great screens, but again, the color accuracy winner is the XP. Maybe it's b/c of IPS LCD vs. Super AMOLED? The brightness on the XP might better, but it's very close. Both could be a lil brighter, but I feel that the XP's screen rendering pictures more color-accurately actually makes them EASIER to see under heavy sunlight too vs. the S7.

Home buttons: I hate physical home buttons, so automatic win for XP. lol

I have gone through some reviews and found that xperia x performance is preferred over samsung s7 because it is less expensive for almost similar specs. Surprisingly, I found an offer for S7 that is about 145$ less expensive than x performance. So given the price advantage of s7 and the performance, which one I should buy?

today, still not a reply from Samsung on the column news, which makes it the same as Ridwan's case on his iPad Mini.
