Endurance rating of amoled is less compared to quantum dot display and z5 display is better than s6 in some angles. Coming to x premium the display it is boasting is surely a amoled killer. Sony is underrated because of the mindset of the people. Samsung and apple used this strategy and started magnetising people babbling about their devices. But in real life samsung is a bloat and apple is overpriced. True xperia users know the feel, quality of their devices. Samsung boasts about exynos chipset for being more powerful than snapdragon ( in the case of e7420) but in real life memory transfer , 3rd party apk installs, rooting problems arises. Sony gives the best out of it with unique design and aesthetic look. The company who does true innovations in mobile sector is sony and evn steve jobs admired sony for its outstanding innovations,and designs

But I am sure that xperformance have camera at least as good as s7, and as I am more interested in still photography, 23 mp is always better than 12. Though they could have given 4gb ram. You can argue 3gb is sufficient, but then I can say why 2gb is not sufficient. Have you measured the ideal amount of ram for Android marshmallow? It's just that more is better, at least for Android, specially of u r paying full flagship price.

OK I do agree that Sony is underrated for what they are, but also Sony should accept that they have to stop their arrogant approach if they want to survive. They have to give customers what they want, rather than what Sony think is better. And also, every phone maker trying its best to have a better market share,(look at vivo, Xiaomi, Huawei,even Samsung and HTC.) but Sony continues its half as*ed effort. Take a look at above figures.... 6 generations, same amount of ram. That much may be okay according to them, but they are premium than Sammy and still worse.
Yes, the xperia z5 was hugely underrated, and was a better choice than s6(waterproof, expandable storage, dual heat pipe so sd810 didn't throttle, and almost same performance and battery life as of s6. When you look deep at z5, u have to recognise that Sony is responsible for those underrated reviews. Z5 was 6 month older than s6, but was just "comparable". They could have gone with AMOLED like HTC one a9, could have thrown a gig more ram (zenfone 2, op2, v10, note 5 etc had 4gb ram in 2015) at least in x performance!
Failure of z3+ wasn't(totally) their fault, but x performance is really irritating decision. Removal of 4k video is just a mystery. And please don't say "no one uses it" or blah blah. Because why the hell it is there since z2?
Actually, discontinuation of z series and this x series will be biggest mistakes Sony mobile ever made. People were very excited about z6 family and all 6 members of it, thus satisfying everyone's choice. But, duh!
