Don't buy this phone. Horrible touch problems, unable to type certain words on the keyboard, press the home button, back button, and recent button. Hope Sony can solve this touching issue.

I am a lover of Sony products, and having all gadgets Laptop, mobile and camera in Sony only. I am using Sony Mobile phone since 1998. My first mobile Sony Ericsson GF768 and then Sony Ericsson Z 530i, Sony Ericsson W595 CYBER SHOT, Sony Ericsson T700, Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i, Sony Xperia Z & Z1, Sony Xperia M2 and presently Sony Xperia XA1.
In all that the very worst phone ever I had in Sony is "Sony Xperia XA1. Just understand how much I love Sony mobiles and Sony products.
I am totally disappointed by having this Sony Xperia XA1. The Worst phone I ever had. I bought this phone May 2017 and in a month of usage the problem with touch has started. and then worked some how okay after having the system update. Later slowly the Touch Screen doesn't work properly in all the edges. Having problem with texting letters "p & q" and alpha and numeric change button, camera button and the notification bar doesn't drop down. I replaced original Touch Screen and again having the same problem with in a week of usage. I am totally fed-up with this issue. Now I am preparing myself not to put on my mind in Sony mobiles.

Pls guys don't buy sony xa1. With my one year experience I can say that this is the worst mobile I have ever seen from such a established brand. I had to change the touch twice ND serviced it four times in one year. Literally service centre has used my phone for long time than i had. This phone is shit.

I am a fool. I've tried my best to stay loyal to Sony. Enough is enough.I was either unaware/ignored all the negative reviews about XA1. 5 months later p and q stop working. Can't use 0 and 1. The triangle back button failed but then my p started working so i stuck with it. It's hope that kills. It's been a year and now the notification bar doesn't drop down, all the 3 home screen buttons failed. As of now i have to restart my phone everytime i have to close any window. Sony robbed me with this piece of shit. I'm never buying Sony again. Ever. I don't care if they bring in a shiny new product and people go bonkers about it. Sony has lost me forever.

worst phone i had. touchscreen doesn't work properly on the edges in just within a month of usage. brought it 4-5 times to the service center only to get the same problem after a few weeks or even in just a few days. the last time was a bit ok because it stayed fix longer, but before my warranty expired, the problem came back. i didn't have a chance to get it fixed after, now I can't use the edges. i can't dropdown the notifs, i can't click on the home or back button. dafuq is that? #ripoff

Over 1000 Euros for a never top world wide device (X), isn't this a robbery??!! Even XA1 can handle same camera quality than it, plus some other hidden features being at 5 times lower in price! So what you are trolling here?? Yes some XA1 single sim devices had problems, but there are ways to redeem it. Search and find if you are a true Sony fan as you presume.

How Sony, and its self-satisfied, overpaid, useless monkeys can sleep at night is a mystery. The Sony XA1 is a total piece of rubbish. Sony should be ashamed of producing (and selling) such a low-grade piece of garbage.
In 20 years of mobile phone ownership, I have never encountered such poor quality programming and usability. Shame Sony, I have an older, lower cost Chinese brand phone which is far superior in every, but every , area of operation.
If SOny are true sons of Japan, you will hang your heads in shame instead of feasting on the stupidity of ignorant fools like me.
Your ancestors might forgive you for your dishonesty, but I will, never.
Foul, low, traitorous, cheating, dishonest parasites, rot in hell. I shall never, ever, again associate the name of Sony with anything worthy.
Now I smash my useless XA1 into the non-existence which its creators and promoters deserve.
Good riddance to useless, thieveing Sony rubbish
