Not impressed.I had this phone one week then sold it.Really bad wash out in viewing angles.Looking at certain videos at an angle was like looking at a negative of a photo.Bad bad.I wanted to like this phone.It's beautiful hardware is hindered by it's display.Performance wise it's fast enough.Snappy.Has a very dim and very tiny notification light too.I do not recommend,I sold this and took the money to buy the Xperia X.I like it.

The worst phone on earth. I have had it one week now I try to sell. Its slow. Battery so weak needs charging every day. I only do sms hardly ever call as I am in poland so dont call anyone here. But anyway I have gone back to my samsung. Sony is crap

Hi Friends,
i suggest not to buy this phone. One of the worst processor i have ever seen. E3 dual phone is much better than this. I am facing touch problem, sometimes im unable to type the words. Battery is draining very fast. Battery charging is taking longtime though it has c-type charger and pump express+ 2.0 .Finally not worthable.

I recommend you getting a Huawei P10 Lite. Is much better, more ram and better screen.
Is about 100 ringgit more only.
Or get a Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, much better screen and nicer.

i bought last month. i had touch screen problem. i went to service centre for replacement. they dont give replacement. service only given. now i got same problem. i was disappoint with sony service. service person are arrogant to return my mobile. within half an hour in service centre i found many people had same problem. so dont buy xa1 . sony mobiles are failure not quality. heat will be more compared to other mobile

Bought xa1 on may 2017 in chennai India .for 1mont no problem.after that problems started creeping.Phone goes to silent mode without changing the settings.has to restart to get back to normal mode.having touch screen issues at the edges and not able to pull down notification tray.given to Sony service centre.30days to replace screen .god knows when I will get the phone.made bad choice buying Sony phone

Okay, let's be honest here. This is a great phone. Just because people have issues with setting it up, it is not a bad phone!
Display: set your own brightness, turn off auto-brightness.
Battery: I do gaming, 4G is on and used all day, and it gets from 100% to 45-35% to the evening. I do not see ANY issues with that - check iPhones where you charge twice a day.
Quality: bad ones are always there with any product and any brand - if anything is not working, go back and get a replacement!

xperia xa1 has a very dim display (brownish display may be). I did not notice it when buying, Now I am regretting. Any solution, or change the set? Please suggest.

The quality of this phone is not acceptable that too coming from Sony and for the cost... the camera does not work, battery needs recharging within a days use, sound quality below par comapred to other mobile... in other words a phone NOT worth buying
