Now I have z5c. Is worth going to XA2? It is an upgrade or not? I just want a bigger screen (maximum 5,3 inch) and a good battery

If we were to compare the XA2 with it's somewhat equivalent Galaxy A8 which one would you guys choose in terms of:
1. Battery life in standby time, calling, video playback (NOT exactly battery capacity)
2. Camera in general daylight, acceptable low-light shots, quality, colours, dynamic range, autofocus, image & video stabilization, bootup, low noise when zoomed in, etc. + wide angle, autofocus & EIS in selfie camera.
3. Louder & cleaner audio in speakers
4. Useful toggles such blue light filter, NFC toggle, Chromecast.
5. Better screen sunlight legibility

check the proximity sensor before buying. i wanted to buy it, but after i found out that 2 x different xperia xa 2 had the same issue, changed my mind ;)

I love Sony products for their design but Sony seems to be having a problem nowadays.
My phone went dead within 3 months along with XA1 which I purchased at the same time.
Is their an issue lately?

Went to a freedom mobile shoppe looking at phones a month or so ago.
They give their employees free Sony phones and was told by the actual employee and backed up by his co worker that they are junk.
Problems galore, which was a bummer because this phone was on my list.
But after he showed me his phone for a few minutes it was clear he wasn't lying.
