This is based on experience and yes this is based on not only one phone tried serveral ones, this is also same with my friends. Its either you havent use a sony phone or you are a paid marketing agent of xiaomi( which are common chines company are pouring lot of money for marketing)

To be honest every company spying on you or if not company its US gowernment and their satelite network they call it a prevention of terorism they monitoring around 98% messages and calls wordwide according to guiness books of records.
So your first comment have no value at all.
Man camera isnt crappy? Would like to see both on compare i bet it will be like same.
A1 supports treble as well and quick charge.
A you may see never used a xiaomi phone before but i always expect best phone for a best price. For that xiaomi doing pretty well compared to your beloved Sony where dudes like you pay for having Sony sticker on it another 30% of a phone price.

Cameras aren't as crappy as other midrangers AND it supports treble. Also has fast charging, which is also a must for me. So yeah, I'd rather get the XA2 than any SD625 equipped Xiaomi (A1, Note 4, etc.).
I still don't understand why you're here. Think Xiaomi is better? Fine. Just don't irritate people here with your subjective opinions.
P.S. Adding that "I'm a Sony user too" doesn't mean anything at all.

Does anyone have any idea on when it's going to get launched in India? Went to the Reliance Digital yesterday .... they are clueless. XA2 is probably going to be my next phone after more than 4.5 years with Xperia L.

l simply wonder why Sony's recent dual SIM models have no dedicated memory card slot. Sharing SIM slot 2 with a memory card, the whole point of dual SIM standby feature gets void because you want to expand the memory space with an additional memory card but you would have to give up one SIM slot to do so. In effect, this is no different from a normal model. I hope that Sony will realise this flaw in product design.

Although I agree the Xiaomi A1 offers better bang for the buck, please stop promoting it here.

You are kinda funny my friend like always. Anyway A1 cost about 170 euro. XA1 or XA 2 cost twice more. Maybe 3 times more.
Yes we really cant compare these phones.
Xiaomi is a winner.
