-. -, 09 Jan 2018Still in XA ballpark, Im comparison, $300 is about the sam... moreThis XA2 series is definitely above specced compared to those phones with sd4xx/entry level chips priced @$300(overpriced) ViVo?lol dont bother with them just coz they sponsored Stephen Curry as their advertiser they can overice their junk? Aswell as Huawei though not as much as ViVo... Software updates sucks on both this chinese companies btw.

XA2 with SD630(2017 SoC), BT 5.0(aptx,hd,etc.), 23mp camera/16mp8mp dual selfie, better battery with Qnovo Care, 16:9 screen(thankfully), USB Type-C, etc. And better future Custom Roms compared to Kirin SoCs, and better/faster software updates. I actually believe Sony overspecs them.

We'll just have to see Sony's pricing on these devices.

AnonD-237083, 08 Jan 2018Sony legendary bezel, damnnnIt's got less bezel than the Pixel 2 does it's 3.7mm shorter even though the screen is 0.2 inches larger

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2018$200-$300? Your kidding right, this isnt your mediacrap jun... moreStill in XA ballpark,
Im comparison, $300 is about the same as honor 7x, that has 18:9 screen(good) but it underspecced(not good) and same story for vivo v7+ and mate10 lite, so i don't think this phone is overpriced at all considering the package

This is a battle between Nokia 6 (2018) and Xperia XA2. It is all down to pricing in the end... Samsung has already lost this battla, sammy has absolutely nothing to offer in middle range category. A8 is expensive as a flagship, J5 is not even close with its 16GB storage and mediocre processor and camera. It's funny, but XA2 has a little over exaggerated battery. It could do just fine with battery around 2800mAh, but this big fellow has made this beautifil device a bit bulky. It will score around 120h endurance result here at GSMArena. No need for such numbers...

Gug555, 08 Jan 2018Very bad model. 9.2mm and 3300mah. Or mustbe < 8.33mm or... moreNot even the S8+ or Note 8 has that much battery! Come on be realistic! If you want something with that kind of mAH power then go for a Xiaomi Redmi Note series phone.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2018AMOLED is Samsung brand, made and used just for samsungs' p... moreYes your correct but other manufacturers can ask for Amoled screens directly from Samsung. So not just Samsung devices.

An Amoled display would push the prices and sony doesn't want that, because then customers might turn to Xiaomi or another budget orientated company... In addition Sony LCD's are good quality so i wouldn't would care too much anyways.

I think the new l2 and xa2 and xa2 ultra are very heavy phones because of bigger battery and excellent materials and sony focused in battery life in these phones especially

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2018Dear sony plz come with AMOLED display.AMOLED is Samsung brand, made and used just for samsungs' phones. you probably meant OLED display, but why should sony do that if they already have great displays? it's not all about the newest technology, OLED has disadvantages too - ask iphone x users..

This phone has 2.65mm side bezels, it's noting compared with (the bezel less king) note 8 which has 2.3mm side bezels plus it's edge screen, well done sony.

Still no CDMA? I am stuck with Verizon due to poor coverage from att and t-mobile. I was really hoping Sony would make phones compatible with Verizon. Uggh!
