Chinese manufacturers in 9.1mm 5.7-6" phone put 6000mah battery.. And min 1.5time more good battery life than Sony this models or other. Asus Zenfone 3(z553kl) in 8mm thickness have 5000mah battery, screen 5.5" if i true remember.

Go down Sony. After this news im hate my Sony.. (successor Z5 model - Xperia X Performance). For comfortably chance i buy other good model and sell this

Similar to Samsung A8 and A8 plus.
An average or below average midranger with price of a flagship.
        Thanks no.
Sony makes maybe good TV maybe even an playstation but their phones are each year more and more horrible.

I get 2 days out of my XA1 Ultra so with the increased battery size in the XA1 Ultra I would love to see what kind of battery life it would offer.

AnonD-729306, 08 Jan 2018Yeah, a company like sony should stop a midrange line becau... moreWho am I? I'm a 6 year old sony smartphone user. Who has owned xperia ZL, Z2, and now Z5 premium dual. What about you? Who are you to post some b*llsh*t comment against me who has a lot of ideas about designing a 6 inch or higher smartphone and has held a lot of smartphones?

Akmal Penang, 08 Jan 2018Evolve?? What about 960fps slow-mo and 4k display?? I love ... moreMost people don't use the 960FPS camera. And mostly would do selfie a lot. So in terms of usage. Not everyone uses slow mo on smartphones. And that 4k display is already old and it already exist 2 years ago. The evolution that I'm talking about are as follows:
                        1. Dual camera system. With improved LED flash brightness.
                        2. Heatsink technology. For the processor and the camera IC.
                        3. fingerprint sensor on the screen. Instead on the back or on the side of the unit.
                        4. When designing a 6 inch tablet. The battery should be bigger not smaller.
                        5. Thicker phones for thicker battery life and more components inside.
                        6. Improved speaker design and relay. Which could be a triple or quadruple stereo speaker system.
                        7. Wireless charging. And quick charging. Stop using QNOVO.
                        8. Start using 64GB on all models. And should have bigger internal storage offer up to 256GB of internal storage.
                        9. Start making OLED phones so that it could be supported by daydream VR.
                        10. Increase screen size of the flagship from 5.5 to 5.7. And from 6 to 6.5 inch sony android smartphone.
This 10 list that I'm talking about is what sony is missing. Which is why it isn't selling well. So that 960FPS is a pure gimmick. While the 4k display is old fashioned. Without any optimized apps for 4k display. What's the use of it? Look at the razer phone. They have a list of optimized games at 120hz refresh rate!
                        https://www.gsmarena.com/razer_provides_list_of_games_optimized_for_120hz_refresh_rate-news-29001.php
So if razer can do it. Why sony can't?

I have to give it to Sony for believing in their products and not following others.Sony is being genuine to herself.I can definately see that is a Sony product only by its looks.Really happy that Sony has decided to go with a Snapdragon processor this year!Mediateck wasnt just right...This move makes way more sense. They also listened to costumers regarding batteries.Congratulations.I see success this year with these new models!

Just bcus they didn't alter the name slightly:
                                      LG G - V
                                      Samsung galaxy S - Note
                                      Huawei P - Mate
etc. And the argument that 1 is a phablet, the other a traditional phone size is ridiculous as most models from Samsung, Huawei etc release in 2 or 3 sizes.
