Actually, the water resistant feature of a phone adds up it's cost further. Generally, one can use an android phone for the maximum of 2 years or less because either the battery will die or the software will become obsolete. Moreover no one would drench their phone in rain. Now to answer your question Sony Xperia XA Ultra is not water resistant.

i have received my xperia xa dual yesterday and its awesome phone look very nice and sleek design and performance was too good no hang problem and battery backup is 12 to 13 hrs without stamina mode on thank q sony and amazon

hey guys alrdy upgrade to Android nougat?
i have one problems with this phone when i insert earphones or headphones they not show any notification above screen.. this notification bug or what.. any 1 have this problem? help thx :)

Everythin... moreEither you have huge background processing "application working in the background" which means that you have to use stamina mode, or it is a bug, update the version or wait for an update.
Be careful, some applications may cause this issue.

Guys i just bought this phone few days back.....
Everything fine except BATTERY..
its discharging very fast and the main culprit is "CELL STANDBY"
Last night left at 100% and morning when i woke up found the battery level at 72 %
28% in 8 hrs...freaking insane.....
how to get rid of this ...????????

battery is very poor, camera application error (camera is used by other application), camera lags a lot.

I am an avid user of sony xperia for years now. It has been my favorite cellphone brand, from xperia p to xperia C, from c3, I never had regrets until now. I bought my xperia c5 ultra on April 2016 and I loved it, it was the best for me but 2 days ago, the phone suddenly shut down and I cannot turn it on. The system crashed, it was weird because It was perfectly working then all of a sudden I can't use it anymore. So now i have to send it to the service team, glad it's still under warranty. Then I bought a new one which is the xperia XA ultra and I have never been so disappointed like this before. The display quality is poor, camera is blurry and the battery life is terrible. I very particular of the camera app because I love taking pictures and I bought this unit because of the camera features but I very disappointed with the quality and I Truly regret getting this phone.
