I think these cellular companies never made a perfect mobile phone, to keep each and every model of their product in the market. A perfect mobile phone may wash out the other models of the same company.

The huawei mate 8 easily destroys this phone, Mate 8 have better chipset(cpu and GPU), more RAM, larger battery but Sony only have the better camera, i think the better choice between the Mate8 and Xperia XA Ultra is obvious.

Should have been high end, an SD820 together with a 6.4" display and I would have thought about buying this to replace my Z Ultra but I shall be using my Z Ultra it seems for at least another year until Sony wakes up.
