Mirroring to a decent standalone VR system is the right quality aprroach.
Sony knows that, so they will make that, not offer low quality solutions just to sell.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2016what? future? what about now? lol haahaa. in future, comp... moreI don't play VR because the display screen is too close to my eye, I can watch for 2-3 minutes but more than that I will felt dizzy, if it is an Amoled screen I think 1-2 minutes I will start dizzy. I wearing spectacles I won't hurt my eye by wearing a VR too long, I rather reading books or newspapers and I won't spend my life for this immature gimmick/feature. I known Samsung is promoting this kind of feature, but it is a waste to me, because what I want is premium experience, example like 4K display for top viewing quality.

Sonys VR solution is the future of mobile VR, not the those crappy only illusional false VR headsets that everyone makes now, and yes, even for Xperias with 4k screen....
Soon Xperias will mirror content and games to real VR headsets, for indeed premium mobile VR experience....
And ya can do nothing about it, but troll.... ;-)
