ATTENTION ALL USERS!!!
After installing the latest february security update on my Xperia XZ I noticed several things:
1. Several apps either crashes, reboots itself or loads slower than usual (Youtube, Twitter, WhatsApp in particular)
2. The swipe up on the homescreen to open/reveal the apps tray has disappeared
3. Power button seem iffy (actual functionality especially the fingerprint sensor seem slow or hit-and-miss)
4. Still no selfie camera screen flash option
And the worse of them all....
5. Doesn't let me charge my phone.
I also noticed general performance and battery life has taken a hit.
I have DM's Sony Xperia via the social media but they have yet to answer.
Anyone else have experience these?

Zeus, 24 Feb 2018Man i have the same issue...my batery ruined because of oreo.. Try one of the newer updates... My battery rocks right now...

I got alert for another update(2nd update alert after main Oreo update) about a month ago and just 2 days ago,I got another update alert through my mail from sony about the latest update.
I currently have two pending updates but am sceptic about them... Afraid of loosing my current battery state. SMH

XZ is only on par with iphone5....iph... moreLol if you say so the iPhone 5 benchmark scores so low jeez the 6 is even worst probably the worst upgrade apple did but yet got so much success the Xz has great performance if you know how to use a sony can you'll know that auto mode isnt the key to get amazing photos

After my Oreo update, my battery life got messed up, although the phone runs perfectly fine. But my 1st update after the main oreo update got me a beast of a battery. I'm currently typing this with 38% battery at 3hrs 38mins of SOT.
Mehn, sony gets me good with this phone. My only regret? I could have been patient for XZ1 or the next yet to be seen xperia flagship. #MIRAI
PS. This is my 4th xperia. I love Sony

I have a Sony xz which recently i dropped although screen didn't damaged but pixels were shattered, my set was in warranty so display with touch or digitizer got replaced with new one.
MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT IS PHONE STILL HAS 'WATERPROOFING" ABILITY...??

Lindsy, 25 Jan 2018me too..also by docomo set but cannot connect to pc via cab... morei'm using Z5C docomo, if i want to connect usb otg, i switch off the phone, then switch on the phone again when the otg connect, it will immediately detect my flashdisk.
maybe you can try that way for your pc to detect your phone.
