and i agree, sony can not make good accessories. what sony can do is just producing bluetooth earphones over and over again.

I used a Sony Z2 for 3 years and i still have it. Samsung only lasts for 1 year and after that starts creating problems. I also have a Huaweii P9 which beats samsung s7 in performance any day. I still prefer getting a sony though. Looking forward in purchasing XZ

According you the good phone is the one who has VR and a wireless charging, right lol. Check the chipset, check the CPU/GPU, who cares for wireless chraging, which in fact is not wireless.

You know thoroug... moreSony simply Refined things not just bumping specs out there.. everyone complains on 3gb ram but did they watch videos, speed test on how XZ performs? it's amazingly fast.. also, most of the reviewers uses point and shoot only.. Sony really is a mess on software.. but use manual and see how it performs well.. taking advantage of every spec made out there.. they said Sony lacks controls, then why not Check S7edge.. i have S7edge as well, however, try using manual shutterspeed, see that "exposure" is greyed out on using manual shutterspeed and "HDR" is missing on Pro mode.. while on sony, all of them can be used.. people says sony overexposes most of time, then do a combination of Negative exposure + HDR + low iso, see how it creates massive difference regarding exposure.. shutterspeed comes to play on lowlight.. thou it has only 1s but Sony's ISO performance is wayy better than any phones out there.. try to compare iso levels of each devices.. sony's iso 800 is wayy better than any phones with iso 800 as well.. that's where sensor size comes to play.. larger sensor provides better iso performance,, and thats why smartphones can't beat DSLR.. one does not simply ignore physics.. :)
also, from those haters, probably most of them haven't tried all of those experiences.. only buying phones and got no High End accessories.. Xperia's are very well geared for those High end accessories for best experiences.. also, xperias doesn't put those gimmick things that samsung does.. gimmicks are good at start but after a long run, people doesn't really use them most of time.. example is an iris scanner, which do you prefer to use? iris scanner? or finger scanner which is miles away faster and accurate? xD S5 got heart rate sensor, now who among those millions of people uses that? loudspeakers are weak, but hell with the headphones.. soundstage is very wide, clarity is top notch, mids and lows are perfectly balanced and bass is not overpowering...
people keep complaining.. but let's see, what about iphone7? lost of audio jack wherein no High End headphones will be compatible, completely no manual controls, battery on iphones are too weak.. slower autofocus, weak video stabilization, and prices too much.. apple goes wireless but doesn't even have APTX which plays 44khz on wireless let alone LDAC..

AnonD-572778, 18 Oct 2016HTC 10 is more better then Xperia XZ I compare the HTC 10 with Xperia XZ, I can say the XZ still the better choice.
The HTC 10 use dual tone led is not useful compare to Xperia XZ's RGBC-IR sensor. People can use the RGBC-IR day and night, the dual tone led is only for night. The RGBC-IR sensor is the best white balance hardware during day and night. The dual tone Led is for kid and a out-dated feature. The RGBC-IR sensor is the future tech and now in XZ.
Compare the selfie HTC 10 with IOS support, but just a 5 megapixels is not enough for now. The XZ with 13 megapixel selfie camera is just awesome.
The battery endurance winning by Xperia XZ, no to mention it have Qnovo abdaptive battery changing technology to double up the battery lifespan and the battery care is the smarter choice while overnight charging. I can't found this on HTC 10 yet.
The water-resistant and dust-proof is very important key point and HTC 10 just missing it.
