Their performance is still top tier because it is using SNAPDRAGON 820 so I wouldn't see any "crashes" or "lag" issues. The only problem is Facebook not optimizing their app well. Thats all. Facebook have been always reported for some lag issues. Thats the only app I encountered that lag a bit

I guess u didn't even use Manual Mode. Performance overheating? Wow! I used this phone and had never overheated once man! This is the first time hearing it XD! And dude yes where is the XPERIA keyboard? U should know something in the internet called APKMIRROR that u can download from right? Facepalm

      Camera is awesome after I got another app from store (not its original camera app).., even more I can shoot 4k by using its front camera.. The result is beautiful..

      Battery is okay.. I got half day battery life while taking many pictures and videos and it was still 15% left..

Camera is awesome.. and no overheating issue at all.. Performance is good.. No lag.. The only problem is its camera software.. Not very good. so I managed to get another 3rd party app.. And tadaa.. It's like magic.. All issues has been solved. Love it..

            Ali does Sony pay you or something? I have been using Sony since 2011 and I daresay the xz is the worst mobile I carried. Battery life is on par with my 3 yo z2. not a big difference in camera, and the built quality in comparison to z2 is a joke. and where did the xperia keyboard go???? and why does it overheat in 2017..even the z2 heats less.
            and performance, not remarkable by any means. facebook keeps crashing and always lags under 10%...the main camera is shameful, have you seen the ultra-soft edges, the super grainy night photos???
            the things that deserve the praise are the screen and the front camera. nothing else matters.
            ps. I sent it to Sony UK as it's under warranty. they said there's nothing wrong with it.

                  Phone is slow. I went from the Z3, to this phone in November. Ironically, this phone seems a lot more slow than the Z3. I have not been happy with this phone aside from the first 2 months I had it. I cannot run multiple apps at a time and I constantly have to clear the cache; otherwise, the phone runs slow with every program. If I use 2 resource happy apps at a time, such as Google maps and Spotify, even if Spotify is in offline mode, I can be promised that my phone will basically be "dead" for the next 5 minutes.Also, if FB mess. pops up, the phone suddenly come to a screeching halt. Also, when the phone starts lagging uncontrollably, the background, home screen will go from whatever color/theme I have it on to a purely black screen. At points like this, I have to restart the phone, which is becoming a daily thing - not something I expect out of a flagship phone or a Sony phone. This also happens almost everytime I start the camera too and upon starting the camera, I'm instantly told that some functions won't work cause the phone is getting too hot. Also, when I restart the phone, for the past few weeks, I've been told that rchandler has stopped working. Not good for such a premium phone that I use nearly all-the-time.

                  I am happy with the availability of the updates to the phone, the call quality, the quality of the camera images, the design (which I think is where the money has gone), the fingerprint scanner, the resolution of the screen, the speakers, and the life of the battery, though I still wish this was longer. I'll take the shorter battery in exchange for a phone that doesn't lag daily.

I am using this phone and I am very satisfied with day to day performance. That 1GB RAM difference doesn't change the phone a lot, it only helps multitasking or for storing Samsung's very own heavy but beautiful UI thats why

Of ... moreDude that is only happening on some of this smartphone not all of them like bruh....I used this phone for 7 months and there is no problem with multitasking or lousy performance at all. U might be thinking "3GB RAM phones can't multitask" then u are wrong. If they can't multitask, then how the hell is it going to run intensive games well huh? I got 150096 in AnTuTu and this shows what? 3GB RAM phones can perform well. Dude, yes the RAM is a little bit underwhelming, if u use a phone with more than enough like 6GB RAM but u downloaded a lot of apps, it also can't do shit like multitasking at all because the RAM is loaded by a lot of shit ton of apps. RAM doesn't matter, is see how the person use. If he downloaded a lot of shit apps, then I guess he will complain about performance and multitasking

                                    Well smartphone are smartphone. Whoever need bigger ram should not seek it in smartphone because the laptops and Pc still exist. Whoever need better or best camera should use real Camera instead. Smartphone nowadays are already top notch quality even low end models from an unknown company from any ordinary country is good enough for everyday use. The profit margin in smartphone bussiness are razor sharp thin so every company try to differentiate from each other so many new fancy so called features(superpixel,QHD,bezel less,dual camera,2k,4k,slowmo,hires audio,etc) been heavily advertised. Basically it's normal and actually good to push new innovative ideas but we as smartphone users must be realistic in our expectation. There is only so much high tech, camera,battery, and fancy features can be put inside the already thin smartphone. We live in golden era of high tech gadgets now. Plethoras of choices are available no need to start bashing.
