So its better to get protection than to be sorry.

Japan is lagging behind when it comes to technology. There's nothing of higher quality in Sony products. They just use components mostly designed and manufactured by South Korean companies. South Korea is the technology capital of the world. Almost every electronic components are produced and designed there.

So a QHD AMOLED is barely any sharper than FHD LCD

Who would even buy the XZ if it's similarly priced to the S7? The XZ should cost at least 300 dollars cheaper than the S7 for it to be a worthy purchase. Even the S6 has more up-to-date specs and is better than the XZ. The S6 came out one year earlier than the XZ and it has QHD display, UFS 2.0 and OIS.

The S7 is hailed the BEST smartphone of 2016 by various critics and tech sites, and it is cheaper than smartphones it beat in that category. The XZ offers no real advantage over the S7. It was overpriced when it was first launched. It should've costed not more than 400 dollars.
