Hi Broo ... i would like to asking, why my mobile sony xperia xz cannot recharge ? When i try to charge, there is only logo sony aftersard off again.
Please let me know how to repair it.

Battery not to bad. For hardcore, just No.
If only it has more battery, mostly good enough.
For gaming, 820 is not good enough.
Fyi, i'm using XZ Docomo ver.

Of course, my phone is 3 years old and the battery must have deteriorated a lot. A new one could be slightly better

Don't judge the phone by the looks. If you looking for a cheap phone for casual gaming like Honkai Impact 3, Girls Frontline, Arknights, this phone might suit you well. Why? 1st it has decent SoC for light to medium gaming, but NOT for heavy gaming (i.e PUBG, CODM, or any games that load a massive amount of datas).
I already tested playing HI3 (SEA, CN, JP) on XZ docomo, and it can runs for over 5 hours from 100%. More than enough to login and do daily task for gaming.
And also, tips if you bought/got the docomo version of XZ, don't worry, you can debloat all that docomo stuff. Just google "how to debloat docomo application on sony xperia", and one last thing that you should not skip, you MUST install greenify, pro version (donation ver) is preffered.
And once you gone though all of that, congratz, your phone is now only need 2 times for charging for 1 day. Thanks me later

Thing that always got me with this phone was how inconsistent the battery life was depending on which update you had. The battery would be fine for me for a month or two, and then I'd update it and it would be bad for a month or two. Really annoying. I liked it though and miss it, it died because the screen just came unstuck.

The only thing i liked about the XZ was the form factor... nice to hold in hand, good size balance and not that slippery like modern smartphones... but the rest of the phone, i was not impressed at all, specially the atrocious battery life.

Klaus, 10 Dec 2019One of the worst if not the first of the worst of Sony xper... moreWell you are posting this on 2019 so, yes, some of your points are true but not all. 3GB of ram is very little for today's phones and it shows in this one... My battery life is also degraded after 3 years of use and pubg gaming but it is still manageable.
What it is truly remarkable about this device at least in my personal experience is the resilience to drops. I carry mine naked after the first year and while I try to be careful with it, it has taken several drops to hard floor, including a drop of about 1.5mts and the glass is still in one piece. My previous Xperia (Z3 Compact) was so brittle that I almost gave up on the brand...
Either way i am still holding on to this phone until a proper upgrade is in order...

One of the worst if not the first of the worst of Sony xperia.3gb ram and the fon is extremely slow.. It freezes at least once every hour and the least said about the battery the better. I charge this new phone twice a day even though I don't use apps but just calling. Never again will I buy, recommend or even accept this phone as a gift..

It's been a while since i kept this in the drawer as backup device. Switched ON and got notification on latest Oreo update 41.3.B.2.2. So far so good. Seems like better than previous build. Well done Sony. 2019 and it's still kicking!
