The design was ri... moreWho made the camera module of s7, isn't it sony and as what has been said to their conference, xz contains the best camera module the made. The problem with z5 is not the module but the software that process the camera, unlike exploding phone samsung made, high tech instant bomb.
Anyway isnt lumia take its design from experia, and 3gb of ram is enaugh, full hd is good enough, 2k screen requires more ram. I just want to ask, if the memory of s7 is ufs, and xz is just emmc, then with the same processor, how come xz beats s7.

Sony seriously need to improve their cameras as I've the XZ now and it's camera is still not what it should be, I think that's why they launched the XZs to cover the flaws. Regret buying the XZ as it has already been replaced by the much better XZs.

The UI looks like it came out of 2010. RAM is so 2015. Screen size and resolution has not changed for the last 10 years. Fingerprint scanner is disabled in the US. Camera module is now being used by the lowend XA1. This phone looks like a phone from the stone age. Compare it with the S7 which looks and feels very much like a 2017 flagship.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2017Who would want to use a phone forever with an ugly UI that ... moreFuturistic, that is the term we can use to discribe xperia xz, the ui is good, the camera module is the best in 2016, processor is good, snapdragon 820, ram is good enough, full hd resolution, fast fingerprint scanner, it use all types of autofocus module exist for smartphone, plus it is only 5.2 inches.

XZ is a brick-looking phone that belongs to the stone age. S7 is premium looking futuristic smartphone. XZ looks so out of place today.

I remember this phone costed 750 dollars just 6 months ago. And now it costs 400 dollars. I feel bad to those who bought it at launch. Imagine paying that much amount of money for a phone that doesn't even have 4GB RAM and then saw the price drop like a rocket in no time.

Samsung Knox is the best mobile security solution on Android. And you can't have it on non-Samsung Android phones. S-Health is also the best fitness tracker app on Android. You can't also have it on your Sony phone. Sorry. Just two of excellent Samsung proprietary apps and features amongs many that are exclusive to Galaxy phones and superior to other similar apps you can download from Playstore.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2017The galaxy S7 has all the benefits of iPhone and Android . ... moreSeriously, after reading your post it seems that it doesn't make any sense, why do you compare iphone to s7, and almost all smartphone today can be place inside a vr box, besides from that there is alot of wide range of security apps that can be downloaded from playstore, I know samsung made android os famous but remember even the most succesful phone maker sometimes falls, remember the good old nokia phones.

It uses your core android environment as a gate keeper and decoy to shield your Knox environment. It can run 3 simultaneous fully independent Android environments at once while recycling anything in common between the three to only use the resources of one.
It's much more stable and stays snappy for a lot longer due to its app optimization system. I've never had a single crash, freeze, glitch or random reboot at all. My iPhone 5s would slow down after a few months and get the misc storage bug all the time. Anytime anything weird happens on an iPhone there's no fixing it. The only solution is a hard reset and restore. The app optimizer on the S7 automatically detects glitchy, unstable or excessively resource hungry apps and notifies you and presents you with options to fix or disable the problematic app.
Glass devices are basically the best bridge for iPhone users to enter the world of Android. You can either stay or ween yourself off of all the features you're used to and then go cold turkey into cold feature barren world of stock android.
Galaxy phones basically mirror all the functionality of the iPhone but some don't go as deep. The pro audio system for galaxy phones for instance doesn't have as many apps but you can do what you want perfectly fine with what's there. It has the advantage of more hardware compatibility though. It can connect to any USB interface directly allowing it to be a full fledged pro audio studio. The iPhone doesn't have nearly as wide a range of USB support for devices.
I can go on forever but to sum it up galaxy phones benefit from exclusive hardware optimized sub systems that give it all sorts of special powers stock android can't touch, and it offers all the advantages of Android on top of that and takes all that even further.
The gear vr is another huge plus. It's hands down the most hassle free vr system and blows the daydream away in terms of performance and with the just announced motion controller along with 70 titles you get way more out of the S7 than with the iPhone 7.
The S7 can basically do anything. The iPhone is a great smart phone with very polished audio and video capabilties. It also handles games and apps very smoothly at the cost of any ability to multitask.
The S7 was the original and still is the top multitasking mobile computer with the widest range of capabilties on the planet.
