As far as I'm concerned, it's a magnificent phone for USD 550.

The Sony Xperia UI is very gorgeous and elegance.

Flagship phones are meant to be VR-compatible however you're not going to fully enjoy the experience when your phone only has a 1080p display.

You buy sony, you only get "camera phone" with no other special features.

Except for the ... moreCould you please inform us what are you going to do with the additional 1 GB of ram, and show us the deference between the 2k and the 1080p display..... Samsung will lag even with 6GB of ram while Xperia can fly like rocket and never lag over the time even with 3 GB of ram only.

Sony never far behind..it was too closed with some android smartphone manufacturer..Sony is all about the quality...even the plastic on the side bar is high quality plastic..if you don't like the smartphone why do you(haters) buy that smartphone

The 1080 screen is more than enough to a 5.2 screen and it is saving the battery. The 3 GB Ram is enough for Xperia UI, but it is not enough for Samsung and China phones, because Sony optimizing is fantastic and the UI is lightweight too.

It just has much more artifacts to it in automode than X Performance.
But Being the same 23 module,I guess those extra sensors require some extra time to be better incorporated into camera postprocess algorithms.
