Anonymous, 03 May 2023my xz1 went off and its not respong toany charger ,the rep... moreI had the same problem, and it could just be the contacts on the usb-c have become dirty over time. Clean it with a piece of cloth, maybe that is all it takes. It was with mine.

my xz1 went off and its not respong toany charger ,the repairer just told me to charge the it after looking at the charging systeme but sill nothing

after 5 years of using this phone it is still great. no lag, no heat... cameras are average , but not so bad.

I'm considering buying this phone in 2023. I would like to ask if anyone here could comment about the pixel response times of the LCD panel? Is there any visible ghosting trails and smearing whilst scrolling text on a dark background, eg. scrolling the YouTube app with dark theme enabled?

Coming back to this phone in 2023, I only noticed the AOSP Open Device program for several Sony phones*. It turns out that Sony rolls out Android 11.0 binaries for this phone. If you think about it, Sony can officially roll out a third OS update to this phone. I don't mind this AOSP program thing since I used to flash custom ROMs, but most average consumers don't do that kind of thing.

That guy, 07 Nov 2022I think the phone speakers top and bottom are not the same ... moremine just fine, maybe u have speaker problem, its very balance. if you think the speaker is unbalance just go to accesibility setting and find the bar for balancing the speaker output

Hey guys i have a question my sony is xz1 sov 36 .......and i noticed that it doesnt have 4g+(advanced lte ) supported is that true or u guys can see 4g+ it works for some devices but not on mine i guess...when using data connection........and also if you guys want dual sim u have to search for the model that supports it too....and if any one know how to change from japanese model pls

My xz1 is actually japanese version softbank 701. But I flashed with G8341 Europe version.
Everything is fine in software view. But 2 problems i have encountered.
1. After putting the mobile in stand by, After sometime if any one calls, the touch is not responding.Once i lock & unlock the device with power button then everything works fine.
2. While using some applications , suddenly phone gets hanged & restarts itself . Any reason? this happens for every 2-3 days. There is no specific application to point out that freezing moment.

I have doubt on my XZ1. When you play music or watch content in your device, will the 2 front speakers gets same amount of loudness? because my experience with xz1 was top ear speaker gets low volume even in a phone call but the bottom one sounds normal.
My question is does 2 speakers get same amount of volume ?

Hello everyone. I'm using XZ1 from the last 2 months. Battery usage was not up to my masrk. Screen on time was in between 1 to 2 hours . Battery drain in stand by from 11 pm to morning 7 am it looses around 20-30%.
Accu battery application says that battery health is 61%.i.e 1500 mah capacity estimated from 2700 mah battery.
My question is in stand by mode, with all the toggles in off [ wifi,mobile data, location etc ]
8-12 without usage in the night times, how much of percentage your xz1 is draining?
