Bortle, 01 Nov 2018I still believe there are some who are die-hard xperia fans... moreI've read so many user opinion in xz1 section...seems 90% are satisfied and highly recommend it..I'm using xz, super disappointed by Oreo screen idle battery drain bug..consider to switch phone, i hope xz1 is best option, if not i'll leave Sony..after so many years.

I have been using the xz1 for about a year now and think it is a fine phone. Camera is ace and Sony influence in apps like camera, walkman and screen tech are excwptional. Power saving is good too with the ace battery care and unlike other mobile phone companies they don't patronise you with the tech. The only thing i feel ia a problem and has been on every sony phone ive had is wifi reception, it's quite frankly poor.the range of the phone is not good at home or out and about and I'm comparing it to a Blackberry and an iphone it's the only thing Sony really need to work hard on in their next phones.

The screen is smaller than spec claim. The home and back buttons are on the actual screen so the bottom part is taken up by that making the usable screen much smaller. Returned my device.

I am XZ1 user, just bought last August this year.
here's my insights.
xz1 or nova 3?
I need :
- camera-Excellent! no question on that
- battery life-Excellent! it last for 2 days of average using.
-better and stronger build quality (which i think a point to the sony xz1). Absolutely Yes.
- and finally high storage ( both are qual due to sd card option). I have 64 GB and 4 GB RAM
also i'm worried from the sharp corners of the xz1, are the comfortable to hold?--Yes, it is annoying, it hurts my palm..but its bearable, the problem is XZ1 has just smaller screen. I use my XZ1 as a backup phone only.
Can u help me as i can't make up my mind.. please answer from experience, no specific brand bias please

xz1 or nova 3?
I need :
